10th Welsh National Show

Melissa Grieve did the honours with her own and Jan Grieve's, 'Springtime Park Vanish' (Rotherwood Footlight/Bracknell Dinky's Delight) to take out the Led Part Welsh National Championship.

Steve Bellman did a super job of showing the Shanamon Stud's beautiful Section B, 'Weston Park Chamberlain' (Eyarth Sama UK/Weston Charmaine) to take out the National Welsh Stallion Championship and the Best Welsh In Hand award at the 10th annual Welsh National Show.

Alex Bethall had a great show with her super Section B stallion, the well performed, 'Cherrington Mendolsen' (Cherrington Mozart/Panteg Flounce). The were National Champion Working Hunter yesterday and today they claimed the National Champion Ridden Welsh B award and went on to be declared National Champion Ridden Welsh exhibit.

Ashley Porter's outstanding, 'Nattai Dark Lady' (Nattai Gwydion/Nattai Lady Moonsprite) was declared National Champion Welsh Mare and Runner Up Best Welsh Exhibit.

George Howe rode the impressive, 'Kolbeach Farmer' (Fernleigh Print/County Cover Girl) to be declared Champion Ridden Part Welsh Over 13.2hh and go on to claim the Ridden Part Welsh National Championship. After a year leased by the Howe family in Victoria, Farmer goes back to the Madigan Family in Mackay , Queensland. It was a day of mixed emotions for George.

Ashley Porter's beautiful five year old Section A stallion, 'Vanoca Park Lady Smith' that is out of Nattai Dark Lady by Llanfairbryn Goldrush was declared Runner Up national Champion Stallion.

Steve Bellman led Sally Bayles' home bred, 'Nilton Port Merrion' (Nattai Creme of Eppynt/N.Peironi) to third place in the class for Section A Stallions Four Years and Over.

Jack Forge led Cheryl Bunting's, 'Nawarrah Park Passiona' (Synod Aristocrat UK/N.P. Passion Pop) to win the class for Section C mare Four Years and Over.

L & C Stocker's, 'Fleur de Lys Princess Warrior' (Arawa Commando NZ/F.de L. Hollihock) won the class for Section D Mare Four Years and Over.

Lauren Farquhar led her own charming Section A, 'Torlyn Caraway' (Nattai Calypso/N. Cariad) to be declared National Champion 2 and 3 Year Old Welsh Colt.

Julie and Kasey Tozer's handsome, 'Prize Park Souvenir' (Bookra Sovereign Edition/Yarrandale Wish) won the class for Section C 2 and 3 Years.

Catherine Pattison led her eye catching, 'Pen-Nant Stylish Ambition' (Penybank Domain UK/Eileen Donan Dancer) to win the class for Section D Colt 2 and 3 years.

Daniel Harvey is pictured on the move with Lyn and Luke Heine's beautiful Section A, 'Eagle Park Play With Fire' (Imperial Nevada/Barn Hill Ping Pong) that was declared Champion Yearling Colt and National Champion Junior Colt.

The Ripple Brook Stud's Section A, 'Ripple Brook Astro Boy' (Weston Park Song and Dance Man/R.B Tapestry) was declared National Champion Senior Gelding.

Melanie Mantel drove her own and Vickie Mantel's delightful, 'Alcheringa Sailor' (Weston Park Bounty/Alcheringa Snow In Summer) to be declared national Champion Welsh Harness Exhibit.

Gary Le Brocq led his own delightful, 'Torlyn Ragtime' (Vanoca Park Lady Smith/Amaranda Gaytime) to win the class for Led Section A Yearling Filly.

Helen Nicholls', 'Nimerion Park Lela Rose' (Weston Park Versace/Falconhurst Daydream) took fourth place in the class for Section B Yearling Filly.

Wendy Trimble is pictured with her home bred, 'Tooravale Choisya' (Weston Park Vision/Tooravale Celeste) that won the class for Section B Yearling Filly and went on to claim the Yearling Filly Championship and was declared Runner Up National Champion Junior Filly.

T & B Brand's, 'Yarrrandale Airlee' (Cataraqui Hasufel/Y.Ankie) took second place in the class for Section C Yearling Fillies.

Alice Austin's lovely, 'Avlon Pinot' (Imperial Peppercorn/A. Widgeon) is pictured during the class for 2 and 3 year Old Section A Fillies.

Diana Lawrence's, 'Westbury Sabrina' (Synod Aristocrat UK/Westbury Sybil) won the class for 2 and 3 year Old Section C Filly.

Jack Forge led Chris and Janet Murphy's. 'Keyi Contessa' (Pontsteffan Simwnt UK/Keyi Chiquita) to win the lass for Section B 2 and 3 year old Filly and go on to be declared Champion Filly 2 and 3 Years.

Tamika Green's, 'Eagle Park Bootilicious' (Imperial Nevada/Imperial Blaize) won the class for Section A Filly 2 and 3 Years.

Bree Petrie teamed up with daughter, Amelia and 'Glenview Silver Nightlight' (Menai Silver Sand/Stanton Park Flair) to take out the National Leading Rein/First Ridden Championship.

The Ripple Brook Stud's upstanding, 'Ripple Brook Georgette' out of Ripple Brook Tapestry won the class for Section A Foal.

Janette Powell's colt, 'Rhyl Supreme Court' (Turberry Tom Kitten/Rhyl Matinee) was declared Runner Up National Champion Led part Welsh Exhibit.

Kerri Keet rode Catherine Pattisons', 'Daquara Leading Lady' (Danaways bags UK/Lyoness The Maeva Diva) to claim the Ridden Section D Championship.

Dimity Chalmers rode Anne Cochrane's charming, 'Wyann Brazil' (Wyann Taurus/Rochdale Jenny Wren) to claim the Ridden Section A Championship and go on to be Runner Up National Ridden Welsh Exhibit.

Victoria Ozolins', 'Rivington Blissful' (Rivington Vyvyan/R.Bliss) was declared Champion Ridden Section C Exhibit.
