2014 Brisbane Royal Show

Tova Bates was full of running on the first day of horse judging at the 2014 Royal Queensland Show. Liz Stevenson led Bronwyn Stoner's, Baringa Hallmark' (Janevelyn Madras/Baringa Amazing Grace) to take second place in the class for Australian Saddle Pony Stallion/Colt and go on to claim the Saddle Pony Stallion/Colt Reserve Championship.

Jessica Brieffies', 'Bundaleer Merlin' (Jackets Blue Bird/Langtree Chit Chat) took third place in the class for Australian Saddle Pony Stallion/Colt 13-14.2hh.

Well known showing identity, Melissa Southern led her, 'Bamborough Bolero' (Naruni Park Taylor Made/Bamborough Bo Peep) to take second place in the class for Australian Saddle Pony Gelding 12-13.2hh.

Wayfield Lodge's, 'Chase Your Dreams' (Rathowen Parody/Raaward Shakira) won the class for Australian Saddle Pony Stallion/Colt 13-14.2hh and went on to be declared Champion Saddle Pony Stallion/Colt.

Maddy Sears rode the Sears and Unsworth nomination, 'Myscal Melody' to take third place in the strong class for Australian Saddle Pony Mare Under Saddle.

Mary Richardson out rode a large and older field to win the Australian Saddle Pony Gelding Under Saddle with the Readimarr Pony Stud's, 'Readimarr Blue's Clues'.

Successful Showing professional, Adam Oliver has a busy week in front of him and opened the 2014 Brisbane Royal Show aboard the Senter Family's, 'Bayview Naughty But Nice' that took second place in the class for Australian Saddle Pony Under Saddle.

Long time Brisbane exhibitor, Allan Willett did the honour with his own and Raleigh Riding Ponies', 'Raleigh Dream Lover' (Woodbury Park Showtime/Owendale Dreamtime) to take third place in the class for Australian Saddle Pony Gelding 12-13.2hh.

Lisa Jones rode her own and Deborah Bell's nomination, Farleigh Angelique' (Furzey Kit Cat/Writhgil Unique) to win the class for Australian Saddle Pony Mare Under Saddle and go on to be declared Champion Australian Saddle Pony Under Saddle.

The Brisbane Redcoats do a wonderful job keeping everything under control on the Energex Arena. L-R Peter McLaughlin, Bradley Proctor, Cathy Tizard and Corey Ryan.

The trots are back at Brisbane after an absence of 14 years. The races are to be conducted during the lunch break and during the evening and so should not interfere with the other classes on the arena.

A sophisticated Ashley Harris led Anna Woodhouse's, 'Bordershow Toyboy' (Falcobhurst Boy Blue/Brunswicks Park Emperons) to claim second place in the class for Australian Saddle Pony gelding 11-12hh.

Lee Sears and Angela Unsworth's, 'Myscal Harmony' (Westhill Standing Ovation/Reimoss Raider) was second in the class for Australian Saddle Pony Gelding 13.2-14.2hh and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Saddle Pony Gelding.

Elva Christensen led Emily Myers', 'Rathowen Sounds of Silence' (Kolbeach Freedom/Solitaire of Rathowen) to win the Class for Australian Saddle Pony Mare 13.2-14.2hh and go on to be declared Champion Mare and Supreme Australian Saddle Pony.
