It was good to see hack judge, Michael Christie looking well for his assignment in the Brisbane Sunshine. Michael, who has not been well has been given a positive report from the doctors and has clearly benefited from an overseas holiday.

It only seems like yesterday that Jordan Skyring was a little girl on ponies. Well both Jordan and the ponies have grown and she took third place in the class for Novice Hack Over 16hh with her, 'DP Polo'.

Emma Adams' wonderful, National, Grand National and multi Royal Champion Show Hunter, 'EBL Juliett' by the imported Dutch stallion, Jive Magic won the class for Open 14 Stone Show Hunter and went on to be declared Royal Queensland Show Hunter. This may be Juliett's last Royal Show before she retires from the show ring after the Nationals in December. After that Emma hopes to pursue a dressage career with the beautiful and talented mare.

Popular jumping and sometime showing rider, Becky Allen is pictured aboard her home bred (with husband, Stuart Jenkins), 'Fairview Elevation' by Elias out of a Daley K mare on their way to fifth place in the class for Novice Show Hunter Over 16hh. They held their position and took fifth place in the class for Open 14 Stone Show Hunter.

Successful Queensland showing exhibitor, Renee Simpson rode her, 'Rim of Fire' to take fourth place in the class for Open 14 Stone Show Hunter.

It was a battle of the impressive Warmbloods for the Show Hunter Championship. Tyler Harris rode her own , Ashley Harris and Rebecca Crane's impressive Fisherman's Friend Gelding, 'France' to win the Novice Show Hunter Championship, the Open 12 Stone Show Hunter class and the Reserve Open Show Hunter title. The seven year old was purchased from Robyn Pearce in Victoria and is competing at his first Royal Show.
