Pip Grieve rode Linda McKinnon's, 'Regal Legenderry' by Londonderry out of a Ludendorf mare to win the Four Year Old Young Horse Qualifier.

Popular Melbourne rider and trainer, Bill Chrisanis, rode Deborah Williams' imported mare, 'Dream of Romance' by Don Romantic out of a Londonderry/Weltmeyer mare to take equal ninth place in the Four Year Old Young Horse Qualifier.

A busy Hayley Gilbert is pictured aboard Lauren Stewart's, 'Everton Dreamtime' by De Nero that took second place in the Four Year Old Young Horse Qualifier.

A multi talented, Jason James rode Catherine Basile's impressive, 'JC Halle Berry' by AEA Rituel out of Jaybee Honey to win the Six Year Old Young Horse Qualifier

And adding some colour and movement to the morning's competition, Sharon McKimmie rode Douglas Davie's , 'Kenlock Indian Sky' and imported Oldenburg stallion by Sempatico out of an Art Deco mare to take second place in the Six Year Old Young Horse Qualifier.

Anthony Bartlett rode Anthea Hayes', 'Secondo Bacio' ( translated means, "Second Kiss") to fifth place in the Six Year Old Young Horse Qualifier. Although the breeding was not supplied, one would guess that this horse is by Furst Kiss, but that is only a guess.

Sara McDonald rode Ruth Feltoe's charming New Forest Pony, 'Habafield Anastasia' to win the Six Year Old Pony Qualifier.

Samantha Cesnik is pictured aboard her mare, 'Fendi F' by Ferrero Rocher that is now competing in the USA. Fendi F took fourth place in the Six Year Old Young Horse Qualifier.

Popular rider, trainer and retailer, Stephanie Dijkstra rode, 'Otway Mako' (sadly no breeding available) to seventh place in the Four Year Old Qualifier.

The annual two day Carlton Performance Horse dressage event, was dealt a bad hand by the weather gods, with an early forecast of two days of 40 degrees. With the majority of equestrian events cancelled last weekend due to heat and most cancelled again this weekend, Jade Woodhead did her utmost to try and do the best for both riders and horses. The result was a morning just for the Young Horse classes. Amelia Corallo and 'Riverlord Lullaby' started the 4 year old event at 7am.

Young Rider, Tori Stuckey rode the 17.1hh, 'Mayfield Thor' (Whisper W/Northern Antoinette) to ninth place in the Four Year Old Young Horse Qualifier.

Emmalee Weston and the good looking 'Jaybee Don Eduardo' by Don Frederico took sixth place in the Four Year Old Qualifier.

Marvin Smink rode the Bloomfield Farm's new, imported Oldenburg stallion, 'Versace' by Vivaldi out of a Ferro mare. After two errors of course the impressive import took equal fourth place in the Four Year Old Young Horse Qualifier.
