Michael Neville from NSW rode his Cowtown Cat by Peptos Stylish Oak (IMP) to score 123 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Jamie Bush from Central Queensland rode Sharon Bush's, My Diamond by Docs Argyle to score 137 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Cameron Parker from Qld., riding his Spins Are Sophisticated by Sophisticated Cat scored 144 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Popular local competitor Billy Neville rode Coconna by Peptos Stylish Oak to score 141 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity. The Non Pro horses will now have a day off before the second round on Tuesday with the 15 horse final on Saturday 7th June.

Lynda MacCallum from Scone in NSW rode her Destinys Model by Arces Destiny to score 130 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Brian Elliott from Victoria riding his Tyrell Park Alil Lena by Tyrell Park Alil Shortinn scored 140 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity. This year along with most classes the Non Pro Futurity has record entries with 97 horses.

Thomas Sheehan from NSW rode his Top Cat N Tails by Winderdeen All Shortinn to score 138 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Benn Watson from Scone NSW rode his RBH Reyanna by Rey Dual (IMP) to score 135 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Lloyd Neilson from Kinaroy Qld., rode his Filthy Gorgeous by Whos Top Cat (IMP) to score 131 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Jamie Szkadlarski from Qld., riding his Yulgilbar Duck N Down by Playboy Roy (IMP) posted a score of 134 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Dominic Williams from NSW riding his KB One Sweet Peptos by One Roan Peptos scored 143.5 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity, another good run on Tuesday should see this combination in the 15 horse final vying for the $65,000 payout purse.

Sidney Myer from Victoria rode his Whos Jatz by Whos Top Cat (IMP) to score 142.5 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Local Tamworth rider, Tracey McClurg rode Stormys Pepto to score 135 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

2014 Non Pro Hall of Fame inductee Lincoln Veraart rode his Peptos Lethal Oak to score 135 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity. Lincoln also rode EBS Touchmiasomemore to score 142.

Clive Hill all the way from Busselton Western Australia, rode his Amaroo CD Bob by Bobby Bo Lena in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.. Unfortunately they only scored 120 but the young stallion shows plenty of talent for the job.

Jennifer Miller from Far North Queensland was very pleased with her run aboard Starlights Peponita by EV Peps Stylish Oak scoring 134.

2014 Non Pro Hall of Fame inductee, Lindsey Wheatley from Vitoria rode Miss Serena To You by Mr Boomsmal To You to score 140 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Cherie Rapley rode Raps Stickybeak to score 126 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity. With record entries at this years Futurity there were lots of new faces both human and equine.

Justine Hodgeman from NSW rode EB S Digit by Zack T Wood to score 142.5 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity. Another score over 140 should see them in the final.

Julie Wadsworth purchased her Noxious at last years NCHA Select sale and was pleased with her 134 score in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity. The 2014 huge Select Sale is conducted on Friday selling Cutting breed horses of every age and stage of training.

Tony Scantlebury from Qld., rode Maize A Dulce to score 120 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Steve Hall from NSW scored 124 riding Misy Blue Rey by Rey Duel (Imp) in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

James Parker from Qld., rode Sexy Lingerey by Rey Dual (IMP) to score 144.5 in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

Young Wyatt Gray started well with Gabreyelle by Rey Dual (IMP) but retired after loosing his cow. This is a tough sport with the slightest hesitation can end in a lost cow and all hopes of a final place dashed.

Victorian Shane Crawford scored 137 riding Whos Top Duck by Whos Top Cat in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity. Shane has made a number of Non pro Futurity finals but will need a very good second round to make the final this year.

After making the Open Futurity final with two of her horses, Amelia Tomkin and her CTK Wizard competed in the first round of the Ariat Non Pro Futurity.

This years NCHA Futurity show is being held over 14 days with record entries, a huge trade display and great enthusiasm by all concerned. It is estimated that the NCHA Futurity injects $4,000,000 into the Tamworth community.

Three of the 14 days of the NCHA Futurity show are free for the general public (including today) which allowed plenty of families to visit, pick up a informative cataloge for $5, shop and have there first taste of the sport of cutting.
