Samantha McMaster rode her impressive , 'DP Destiny' to win the class for Lady's Show Hunter Hack.

Penny Greenhill has been coming to Melbourne Royal since before she could walk. The dedicated Melbourne Royal exhibitor rode her lovely, 'Kolbeach Party' to take third place in the class for Novice Hack 15-15.2hh.

Sara Love rode her, 'Manorvale Blue and Royal' to take second place in the class for Novice hack 15-15.2hh.

Jade Gilbert rode Chelsea Kootstra's 'Rosevale Design' to sixth place in the class for Novice Hack 15-15.2hh.

Evergreen showing rider, Mark Tarrant rode Brian Scholes' former racehorse, 'LA Swish' to second place in the class for Novice Hack 15.2-16hh.

Rebekah Carrolan's former racehorse, 'London Court' that raced under that name took fourth place in the class for Novice Hack 15.2-16hh.

Mark Kenzig rode his own and the Gorst Family's nomination, 'Rightfully Yours' to take sixth place in the class for Novice hack 16-16.2hh. The typey bay was raced under the same name by the Gorst Family and won over $500,000.

Sarah Dempsey's, 'Sarven Park Tell All' was the subject of a Horse Deals Magazine feature earlier in the year. As you can see the lovely mare is progressing well and today took fourth place in the class for Novice Hack 16-16.2hh.

Tayla Anderson rode her eye catching Warmblood gelding by Don Frederico, 'Onyx' to take second place in the class for Novice Hack Over 16.2hh.

Regular Melbourne Royal competitor, Sheree Lee is not letting her sisters take all the credit. Sheree rode her well performed ex racehorse, 'Tudor Park Guilded' to take third place in the class for Novice Hack Over 16.2hh.

Karen Fisher took out the Novice 16-16.2hh class with her ex racehorse, 'Grail'. Racing Victoria are awarding all winning former racehorses a $300 bonus. Their aim of course is to see more and more ex racehorses out in the showing and general riding community

Laura Thomas rode her Thoroughbred, 'Taittinger' to win the class for Novice Hack Over 16.2hh. The $300 Racing Victoria prize for winning the class is the most the Clang gelding has earned from his racing connections.

Samantha McMaster rode her lovely, 'Atmosphere' to win the class for Novice Hack 15.2-16hh and claim a Racing Victoria $300 bonus, the most the grey Ferocity gelding has earned from racing.

Caitlyn Hulme from Silvan in Victoria rode Amy Sznicer's, 'Laurendel Geisha' to third place in the class for Novice Show Hunter Over 16hh.

Deanne Benton rode the Benton and Benton-Hall Families', Thoroughbred, 'Formal Occasion' to win the class and the Racing Victoria $300 for Novice Show Hunter Hack Over 16hh.

Kathleen Mullan from Melton has had the "best" show. She claimed the Best Novice Show Hunter Pony, the best Novice Show Hunter Galloway and this morning under judge Maree Tomkinson rode her, 'Kolbeach Roulette' to win the class for Novice Hack 15-15.2hh and go on to claim the Best Novice Hack award. Soon it will be time for the "best" party!. But before that they went on to win the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

The 2014 Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide Royal Champion Hack, 'Mikimoto' had to settle for second place today in the Open 15.2-16hh class. Ridden by Michael Christie, Mikimoto is exhibited by Joh Bailey and Michael Christie.

The seagulls are part of the Melbourne Royal challenge, however Isabelle Barker was up to it with Romsey Park and Julie Conti's, 'Dreamtime Revenge' that took fifth place in the 15.2-16hh Open Hack class.

Margot Haynes rode Vicki Lawrie and Mary Bawden's 2013 National Champion Small Hack, 'Worldly' to win a strong class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh. Earlier in the year, Worldly featured in a Horse Deals Magazine Off The Track story.

Grace Hill rode Kim Joblin's, 'SLM Skyte' to claim the Child's Show Hunter Hack Championship.

Malcolm MacRae rode Emily Lord's eye catching, 'Lord Cairo' to take second place in the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh.

Clint Bilson rode Jessica Dunn's, 'Montilla' to win the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh and claim a $300 bonus from Racing Victoria.

Alexa Ward from Coldstream in Victoria rode her impressive, 'OEH Eloquence' to win the Lady's Hack class and with it the First Glance Trophy donated by 2014 Hack judge, Maree Tomkinson. They also took third place in the class for Open hack 16-16.2hh.

Adam Oliver stepped aboard Syenna Vasilopoulos' former Sydney Royal Champion Hack, 'High Fashion' to take fourth place in the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh.

Show rider,judge and producer of lovely big show horses, Rebecca Farrow is pictured aboard her, 'Stage Presence' that took fourth place in the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh. Earlier in the day Rebecca was declared Champion Lady Rider.

Stephanie Barrington had a good hit out for the Garryowen tomorrow by winning the Open Over 16.2hh Hack class with her own and Francesca Christie's, 'SLM Orlando'.

Successful young rider, Abby Heffer from Wallan rode her, 'Pink I Am' that raced as "Belinda Loves Pink" to win the class for Novice Show Hunter 15-16hh and take out the Best Novice Show Hunter Hack award. The Racing Victoria $300 bumps his racing earnings to just over the $2000 mark. In the Novice Show Hunter classes at least, the Thoroughbreds held off the Warmbloods, but the open classes are yet to come.

Matilda Longbottom from Toorak rode her super, 'Broadway Duntroon' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Hack 15-15.2hh.

Troy Wilson from Bega in NSW rode his German import, 'Shakira LP' by Samba Hit out of Davida to take out the relatively new Providence Cup for "horses over 14hh showing Show Hunter Qualities". They went on to take out the class for Open Show Hunter Hack Over 16hh.

Laura Heffer rode Jane Veall's lovely Rotspon gelding, 'Remi Rockefella' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Hack 15.2-16hh and go on to claim the 2014 Melbourne Royal Show Hunter Hack Championship.
