German Team Member, Georg van Stein added three time penalties in the Cone Driving section to finish the Driving Championship in eighth place and help the German Team take the Silver medal.
Surprisingly looking at this photo, Hungarian driver, Jozesf Dobrovitz added 3.66 time penalties to his score to finish in seventh place. The knockdown of a cone incurs three penalties and then there is the time allowed.
Dutch Team member Koos de Ronde added 2.25 time penalties in the final Cone phase.
Again looking at this photo is difficult to understand how German Champion and former World Champion, German, Christoph Sandmann incurred 3.27 time penalties. Especially as he won the Marathon section yesterday. They finished fifth overall and were members of the Silver Medal Team.
Dutch Champion, Ijsbrand Chardon went clear in the Cones to finish in fourth place and help The Netherlands claim the Team Gold medal.
Dutchman Theo Timmerman produced a clear round under time to claim the Bronze medal.
Did Chester Webber from the USA forget to take his sunglasses off? It used to be considered a faux pas driving with sunglasses. However glasses or not, the winner of the Dressage phase produced a clear round to claim the Silver Individual Medal and put the pressure on Australia's Boyd Exell.
Australia's Boyd Exell again gave a superb driving demonstration. The connection he has all the way from the carriage down to the leaders that seem to be thinking the same thoughts is extraordinary. Boyd produced a clear round to claim back to back Alltech FEI WEG Driving Championships.
Boyd Exell's team in perfect sync with each other and their driver.

Rolf-Goran Bengtsson and the Caretino stallion, 'Casall Ask' make a super jump during the final four ride off.
Beezie Madden's 'Cortes C' owned by Abigail Wexner need not cross his fingers, as he did not fault for any of the four riders and finished the top horse of the competition. Beezie finished with a total of 12 penalties over the four rides and took the Bronze Medal.
Frenchman, and a local Normandy man, Patrice Delaveau makes a super jump aboard his strong and very neat Quick Star stallion to get the final four off to a good start.
There was plenty of support for French finalist, Patrice Delaveau.
The top four swap wasn't all easy going for Swedish Champion, Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, pictured trying out the brakes on Jeroen Dubbeldam's , 'Zenith'. Bengtsson had one down and two time penalties. The pre post favourite finished in fourth place with a four proud total of 14 penalties. But That's showjumping.
Beezie Madden is pictured aboard Partrice Delaveau's Quick Star stallion, 'Orient Express HDC'.
The Sydney Olympic Champion and now 2014 Alltech FEI World Champion, Jeroen Dubbeldam was as pleased as and so was the "orange army"..
After the jumping no one really knew what was going on and the Games slowly petered out.
The Jumping Frenchman (seen at Werribee and Adelaide 3DE) were part of the closing ceremony.
