The Melbourne Royal arena on the first day of judging at the 2015 Royal Melbourne Show. The addition of a new work area below the main arena has been greatly appreciated.

Abby Towers rode the Nordic Park and Medhurst Family's nomination, 'Koorana Pizazz' to fifth place in the class for Pony Turnout Riders 4-8 Years.

Kiarra McGregor rode her, 'Dyarah Park Nik Nak' to fourth place in the class for Pony Turnout, Riders 7-9 Years.

Ruby Malerba rode her, 'Kista Park Pirouette' to fifth place in the class for Pony Turnout Riders 7-9 Years.

Keira Barton stepped aboard her sister, Emily's, 'Wyann Peaches' to take third place in the Pony Turnout class for Riders 7-9 Years.

Muirne Reilley was delighted with her victory in the class for Pony Turnout Riders 7-9 Years riding Vienna Smith's super Welsh Pony, Dalgangle Moonshine'.

Kyle Baboth's, 'Chesapeake Park Twilight' show off a wonderful head of chestnut hair during the class for Novice Ridden Shetland Pony.

Kayla Atkinson rode J & R Gerber's, 'Kristamoor Lodge Kieran' to win the class for Novice Shetland Pony under saddle.

Tahlia Young rode her mother Brooke Young's nomination , 'Colvadale Omarin' to third place in the class for Novice Shetland Pony under saddle.

Beth Rowley rode J & R Gerber's, 'Chesapeake Park Huntsman' to second place in the class for Shetland Pony 10-10.2hh.

Daizi Plumb rode her dad's nomination, 'Cleoranee Royal Jackpot' to take sixth place in both the Novice Shetland and the class for Shetland Pony 10-10.2hh.

Nine year old Grace Ivill did a splendid job aboard Emma Richardson's, 'Oak Park Paramount' to win the class for Shetland Pony 10-10.2hh and go on to claim the Shetland Pony Championship.

Ebonie Lee rode Christine Symmons', Woodview Cruize' to fourth place in the class for Shetland Pony 10hh and Under.

Georgia Adams rode Emily Machar's, 'Carreg Wen Athena' to win the class for Shetland Pony 10hh and Under and go on to take out the Shetland Pony Reserve Championship.

Paris Graham rode Michelle Labahn's lovely, 'Whitmere Royal Consort' to take fifth place in the class for Child's Pony 12.2h and Under.

Georgiana Walsh rode The Romsey park and Fiona Kittson-Walsh's Adelaide Royal Best Novice Pony, 'Deanhills Royal Academy' by Royalwood Boy Soprano and out of the super imported mare, Blaircourt Crystal Rose to take fifth place in the class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh.

Ada Spring put in an impressive riding performance aboard her own and the GC Equestrian's nomination, 'Bamborough Mickey J' to take second place in the class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh and went on to take out the Reserve Champion Child's Pony award.

Edwina Lumsden rode Kym Ellery's very well performed, 'Wynara Midnight Secret' in the class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh.

You bet Ava Halloran's, 'Karlana Opening Night' knows he is a superstar pony. The beautiful pony won the class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh and went on to take out the Child's Pony Championship. Ava can just look on in amusement at the vanity of her great pony.

On a beautiful Melbourne Spring morning, Shelby Gallagher rode Emily Barton's well performed, 'Wyann Peaches' in the Turnout class for Riders 4-6 Years and Pony Under 12hh.

With some help from Sheree, Lila Horspole rode the Romsey Park and Sheree Pengelly nomination, 'Murraydale Park Callum' to fourth place in the Pony Turnout class for Riders 4-6 Years.
