Michelle Baker opened the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI competition with her, 'Coldstream Dante' (Coldstream Vienna/Tell Me Why) and she looks very pleased with their efforts.

Matthew Dowsley rode Di Jenkyn's talented, 'Adloo Richard' (Royal Hit/Belcam Aarcadia) to third place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 70.40%.

Tom McDermott won the entertaining Equestrian Jumping Accumulator Stakes riding the imported Quidam de Revel stallion, Fernhill Quintago 1 Tom took third place riding SL Limerick and is pictured riding his Statford Delight.

Lisa Martin was delighted with her super and imported Fidertanz mare., 'First Famous' that took second place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 71.52%.

Rachael Downs with John Potter's Sir Donnerhall gelding, 'Silbermond' was one of the outstanding combinations at the 2015 Sydney CDI. Riding with great tact Rachael guided her super talented mount to first place with 72.05% in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle.

Rodney Martin rode Andrea Beatty's delightful, Royal Hit mare, 'SPH Renaissance' to claim the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia NSW Four Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Phil Bobic has certainly made his presence felt at only his fourth dressage competition with Jemma Heran's absolutely delightful import, 'Go Dutch III' (Gracieux/Steinglanz). The good looking combination out worked some big names in dressage this afternoon to take fourth place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with an impressive 70.35%. Certainly, Go Dutch is far mare than a riding class horse, but there is no reason he cannot do both. Phil's is the dressage debut of the year.

Morgan Duell from Victoria rode her own, 'Florinzz' (Mayfield Pzazz/Classique) to take third place in the Agnes Banks Equine Clinic CDI-Y Freestyle with 69.59%.

Michelle Baker rode her own talented 'Bradgate Park Puccini' (Presteige/Flowervale Ferronique) to take third place in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia NSW Five Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Sharon McKimmie rode her imported Dutch gelding 'Ambassi' (Samba Hit/Sjardee L) to win the Mulawa Performance CDI U-25 Grand Prix Freestyle.

Maree Tomkinson rode her own and TGD Investments super impressive, imported mare, 'Donna Elena' (Don Schufro/Beauty Bolera) that was declared Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia NSW Five Year Old Champion.

Daniella Dierks rode Melanie Bloom's Sonny Boy stallion, 'Bloomers Simply The Best' (pictured) to second place in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia NSW Five Year Old Young Horse Championship. A little later Danielle won the Six Year Old Championship with her own imported San Amour stallion, Solo Feliz.

German guest rider, Anna-Sophie Fiebelkorn is pictured aboard Amanda Jakins', 'Artes Lauries Gift' (Lauries As/Remi Pinot Noir) that was ridden in the Young Horse qualifiers by Gina Montgomery. The impressive gelding took second place in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia NSW Four Year Old Young Horse Championship.

It is not a dressage competition in Australia without, Rozzie Ryan. Rozzie is pictured aboard J and E Bevan and Heath and Rozzie Ryan's home bred, 'Jarrah R' (Jive Magic/Samphire) that took second place in the Wade Equine Coaches EA/FEI Medium Tour Freestyle with 67.29%.

Kelly O'Keeffe is pictured aboard her, 'Heatherton Park Gift' by Garth during the Wade Equine Coaches EA/FEI Medium Tour Freestyle.

Camilla Palmer rode Grant Poolman's well performed and experienced, 'Glenquarry' (Ilkay/Stirling Lilac) to sixth place in the Wade Equine Coaches EA/FEI Medium Tour Freestyle with 65.37%.

Queensland rider, Gary Lung had great success in Young Horse classes with his Weltmeyer gelding out of GB Saffron, 'GB Winchester' and has continued on successfully. They took fifth place in the Wade Equine Coaches EA/FEI Medium Tour Freestyle with 66.37%.

Jenny Gehrke is pictured aboard, Peter McCluskey's 'Fairbanks Jazz Time' (Jazz/Fairbanks Gina) on their way to fourth place in the Wade Equine Coaches EA/FEI Medium Tour Freestyle with 66.58%.

Fern Wright's 'Kamber Merfyn' (Trapalanda Downs Jaxon/Imperial Martha) won the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Five Year Old Young Pony Championship.

Nina Boyd looks very up and going with Wendy Lorincz's, 'Kalimna Emblem' (Earl/Kalimna Andromeda) on their way to second place in the IRT Advanced Freestyle with 70,25%.

Mark Arthur rode his charming German import, 'Snow Master' (Show Star/Hauptstutbuch First Love) to third place in the IRT Advanced Tournament Freestyle with 70,08%.

Alycia Targa has grown up in the dressage arena and today rode Jane Bruce's, 'CP Dresden' (Damsey/Callum Park Regardless) to win the IRT Advanced Freestyle with 70.29%.

Up and coming NSW FEI rider, David McKinnon rode Laura Summerhayes' imported, 'HV Her Highness' (His Highness/Winzerin) to fifth place in the IRT Advanced Freestyle with 69.37%.

Nicole Tough is pictured aboard Traci Bolt's delightful Dutch import, 'Borsato' (UB40/Pimpernel) that took sixth place in the IRT Advanced Freestyle with 68.83%.

Tegan Kidner rode her Queensland bred, 'Finch Farm Clifford' (Charlemagne Ego Z/Just A Trade) to fourth place in the Oaks Sport Horses Five Year Old Young Jumping Horse Final.

Well known jumping rider, trainer and coach from the ACT, Stephen Dingwall rode Robert Stewart's, 'Cavalier Du Rouet' (Balou du Rouet/So Elegant) to win the Oaks Sport Horses Five Year Old Young Jumping Horse Final and the overall Five Year Old Series Final.

Chris Chugg is pictured aboard his newly imported German gelding, 'Dito' by Diorado. They are pictured in the first round of the Oaks Sport Horses Young Showjumping Horse Five Year Old Final.

Rhiannon Ellis rode her , 'Oaks Donatello' (Danaos du Theillet/Oaks Alto) to take second place in the Oaks Sport Horses Five Year Old Young Jumping Horse Final.

Amanda Shoobridge rode the Revelwood Warmblood Stud's mare, 'Revelwood Destiny' (Depardieu/Richmeed Lara) to fourth place in the IRT Advanced Tournament Freestyle with 69.58%.

John Thompson risked it all and was the highlight of the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI night riding his , 'Bates Antonello' (Anamour/Flair). John used the horse's piaffe and passage talent ridden one handed to encourage the crowd to get involved; and they did. John and Antonello received an artistic mark of 76% from Five Star Judge at C, Cara Witham. She gave them an overall score of 72%, but with the other marks factored in they finished with a score of 68.70%

Judy Dierks contemplates what might be with Vicki Newham's imported Diamond Hit gelding, 'Diamond Star'. Third in the Grand Prix CDI with 68.70%, Judy and the Grand Prix newcomer went on to thrill the packed house and win the Grand Prix Freestyle with 72.78%. The competition was close as Mary Hanna was second riding Umbro with 72.55%.. If the competition proves one thing, it is that you can never, never discount Judy Dierks.

Tayla Desmet from Victoria made a clean sweep of the Young Rider classes riding the beautiful Rotspon gelding, 'Rodrigo III' winning the Agnes Banks Young Rider Freestyle CDIY today with 70.225%. Tayla also took out the Greystone Young Rider Award for the highest score (69.42%) in Young Rider classes excluding Freestyle.

Sell out for freestyle night at the Sydney CDI. Both the VIP dinner and the all seats for the Sydney International Equestrian were pre-sold before Saturday.
