Alexandra Harris was one of the well dressed finalists in the Best Dressed Strapper competition conducted during the Thoroughbred competition.

A dapper Daniel Retschlag claims the honours and was declared, Best Dressed Strapper.

A surprised and delighted Jan McMllan was inducted in to the RNA Showhorse Hall of Fame. Jan is pictured receiving her trophy from RNA Councillor and Deputy Ringmaster, Dan O'Connell.

Al Berwick rode the Fraser Family's Sequalo mare, 'Dear Prudence' to win the class for Thoroughbred Mare Under Saddle.

Craig Porter rode his own and S Baldwin's, 'Playing At Dawn' by Just A Diamond to take third place in the class for Thoroughbred Mare Under Saddle.

Sarah O'Connor rode her, 'Hellinaccell' (known as Supreme in the showring) to take fourth place in the class for Thoroughbred Gelding Under Saddle.

There were a number of successful horses today by the stallion, Sequalo and the Austin, Lilley and Taylor nomination was one of them. 'Proof of Life' took sixth place in the class.

The Croxley Stud's Sequalo gelding, 'Cadalora' is pictured during the judging of the class for Thoroughbred Gelding Under Saddle.

The Douglas Family's, 'Panther/Mr Porter' by Purrelis took fifth place in the class for Thoroughbred Gelding Under Saddle.

Jemma Green's, 'Aussie Royale' by Aussie Rules (USA) is pictured during the class for Thoroughbred Gelding Under Saddle.

Laura Widdowson rode her successful show hack, 'Footsteps In The Dust' by Footsteps In The Sand that took second place in the class for Thoroughbred Gelding Under Saddle and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Thoroughbred Under Saddle.

Emily Wonka rode Penny Bieber's, 'Imita Ridge Sunrise Serenade' that took second place in the class for Waler Under Saddle.

Sarah Stewart's, 'Talara Aranda Nugget' took third place in the class for Waler Under Saddle.

Dressed in a Light Horse uniform, Helen Folodko rode the Cooinda Orana Walers, 'Redgum Arizona' to take fifth place in the class for Waler Under Saddle.

Natalie Hall had a successful day on the EKKA arena. Earlier in the day she claimed the Best Waler In Hand award and is pictured aboard her, 'Clayton Snippet' that took out a clean sweep and won the class for Waler Under Saddle.

Well known showing exhibitor, Julie Mitchell pictured with her lovely gelding, 'Easy Larger' (Charge Forward/Miss Marbles) easily took out the class award for Best Dressed Strapper.

Alanah Pearson took out the Best Presented Horse and Handler Award with Marybeth Lepine's, 'Like A Ruler' (Tycoon Ruler/What's It Like).

Jan McMillan and Joh Bailey's Rock of Gibraltar gelding, 'Rock of Tara' (JFK in the showring) was declared Champion Led Thoroughbred Gelding on the always popular Thoroughbred day at the EKKA. Jane Gollan is pictured with her 'Temple of Boom' (Piccolo/Temple Sprit) that was declared Champion Racehorse in Training and Reserve Champion Thoroughbred Gelding. Temple of Boom won just short of two million dollars from 68 race starts.

Linda Powell stands up the Anderson and Powell Families' beautiful, 'Regal Banquet' (Kings Best/Vanity Time) that took out his sixth Champion Led Thoroughbred Stallion title and went on to take out a well deserved Supreme Led Thoroughbred award.

Donna Carrigg's, 'Mystic Falls' (Falvelon/Betula) was declared Champion Thoroughbred Mare.
