Talented Queensland rider, Riley Kent was second to the Champion in the class for Girl/Boy Riders 16 AU 18 Years.

Well known Victorian showing professional, Clint Bilson won the class for Gentleman Rider Over 30 Years.

Isabella Bould won the class for Girl/Boy Rider 15 Years and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Intermediate Rider.

Brynie Lee backed up her Adelaide Championship with the Melbourne Royal Intermediate Rider Championship.

Briony Randle rode the successful Burns and Banks nomination, 'Wesswoods Royal Caste' to take second place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh. Not deterred, Briony claimed the Lady's Galloway class with the multi award winning gelding and went on to take out the 2016 Royal Melbourne Show Galloway Reserve Championship.

Michael Christie rode Joh Bailey's well performed, 'Daisy Patch Toy Story' to win the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Francesca Christie rode her impressive, 'SLM Louisiana' to take third place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Emma King rode her, 'Langtree Tiger Lily' to fourth place in the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Jess Stalling rode Fiona Kittson-Walsh's, 'Langtree Royal Affair' to second place in the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Successful NSW exhibitor, Sallie Slater rode her, 'Bayview Rich List' to take third place in the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Sue Thompson rode her own and the Romsey Park's successful nomination, 'Royalwood Opening Night' to win the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Francesca Christie rode Jacqui McGregor-Thomas', 'Warranwood Nasa' to third place in the class for Open Heavyweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Jorja Halsall's, 'Highgrove Maxwell Smart' took third place in the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Greg Mickan is pictured aboard the Romsey Park Nomination, 'Royalwood Black Swan' that took second place in the class for Open lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh. It was close between first and second in this class, as Black Swan and the winner Royalwood Chorus of Love are full sisters by Royalwood Boy Soprano out of Sun Smart. Their full brother is Sue Thompson's successful Royalwood Opening night.

Fresh from their success at Adelaide Royal, Chris Lawrie rode Greg Gerry and Lisa Cleary's beautiful, 'Royalwood Chorus of Love' to win the class for Open Lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh. They went on to make it a 2016 Adelaide /Melbourne Royal Galloway Championship double.

Tiffany Greenhill has been showing at Melbourne Royal virtually all her life and is pictured aboard her own and Penny Greenhill's, 'Tiffins Encore' during the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Georgia Adams rode her, 'KTD Just Imagine' to take fourth place in the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh.

A grown up looking Edwina Lumsden rode her mother Jodi's, 'Double T Debonair' in the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh.

The pride of Proctor and Gamble, Stephanie Barrington rode the Barrington and Wight nomination, 'Wizard Town' to win the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh and take out the Best Novice Show Hunter Galloway award. They went on to win the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh and Champion Show Hunter Galloway.

Chloe Strathford rode her own and the J & R Equestrian nomination, the Australian Stock Horse bred, 'Wadbilliga Major Impact' to take second place in the class for Child's Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Brae Digney rode her own and the J & R Equestrian nomination, the well performed, 'Royal Queen of Sefton' to win the class for Child's Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh and go on to claim the Child's Show Hunter Galloway Reserve Championship. Later in the day, Jess Stalling hopped aboard, won the Lady's Show Hunter Galloway class and took out the Show Hunter Galloway Reserve Championship.

Jessica Dertell rode the Future Farms' nomination, 'Naaman Uptown Girl' to take fifth pace in the class for Child's Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Holly Ticehurst took sixth place in the class for Child's Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh with her, 'Terra Felix XL'.

Well known Melbourne Royal exhibitor, Kara Woolcock rode her, 'Wildfire Northern Poet' to win the class for Novice Show Hunter 14.2-15hh.

Briony Randle stepped aboard Emily Murray's, 'Monument Park Superstar' to win the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh and went on to claim the Best Novice Galloway award.
