Successful showing exhibitor, Marcia Beard is back in the fray with another youngster. Marcia rode her, 'Rhyl Monarque' to claim third place in the class for Novice Pony 12.2-13hh.

Tristan Holz rode her, 'Trewarric Sonny' (O'Brien's Jette/Trewarric Minuet) to take fifth place in the class for Working ASH Gelding/Stallion.

Vienna Smith rode Sarah McCormick's, 'Leanda All A Glitter' to second place in the class for Novice Pony 12.2-13hh.

Kellie Withers', 'Keiron Little Drummer Boy' won the class for Novice Pony 12.2-13hh.

Brittany Ray rode Kellie Withers', 'Rosedale Pop Secret' to win the class for Novice Pony 12-12.2hh and claim the Best Novice Small Pony award.

Tori Merygold's, 'Elwood Festivity' took third place in the class for Novice Pony 12-12.2hh.

Jessica Fraser rode the Fraser Family's delightful, 'Regalbrook Razzle Dazzle' to win the class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh and go on to claim the Child's Pony Championship.

Daizi plumb rode her beautiful, 'Calvin Park Tiny Dancer' to take second place in the class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh and go on to claim the Child's Pony Reserve Championship.

It was a great day for the Welsh Ponies in the Child's Show Hunter ring today. Ebonie Lee demonstrating that she certainly enjoys her work, rode her delightful nomination, 'Nawarrah Park Limelight' to be second in the class for Child's Pony 12.2hh and Under and go on to take out the Child's Show Hunter Pony Reserve Championship.

It was Poppi Plumb's turn to shine today. Poppi rode the Heyne and Gates super charming nomination, 'Eagle Park Casino' to win the class for Child's Show Hunter Pony 12.2hh and Under and go on to claim the Child's Show Hunter Pony Championship. Poppi and Casino are pictured with judge, Brian Scholes.

It has been a long time since we have seen Shelly McGuinness aboard a pony. However, it was pleasing today to see her ride the Burns and Banks nomination, 'PMB Springtime Holly' to fifth place in the class for Novice Pony 12.2-13hh.

Jessica Dalgleish rode Jodi Dalgleish's, 'Monrose Park Playforleigh' to fifth place in the strong class for Child's Pony 12.2-14hh.

Paris Graham rode Danyel Riemer's well performed, 'Reigal Ballerina' to third place in the class for Child's Pony 12.2hh and Under.

Jamie MacPherson's, 'Langtree Jupiter' took fifth place in the class for Child's Pony 12.2hh and Under.

Smiles all round. Annabelle Richardson rode her mother Emma's lovely, 'Bordershow Shimmer' to take out the strong class for Pony Turnout Led, 12hh and Under, Riders 4-6 Years. Annabelle and Emma were delighted to pose for a photograph. Shimmer also won the class for Novice Pony 12hh and Under.

Rebecca Hallett's, 'Coolamert Rock N Roll' (O'Brien's Jette/Rose 09) took second place in the class for ASH Hack Gelding Over 4 Years 15hh and Under.

Kimberley McCallum rode Jennifer Emanuel's, 'Cannibal Creek Neilma' (Beau Polo/Windra Gidgea) to win the class for Australian Stock Horse Mare 4 Years and Over 15hh and Under.

Ruby Dunsdan rode her, 'Edgewood Linden' to win the class for Open Ridden Shetland 10hh and Under.

Michelle Wilton had a successful day in the Australian Stock Horse arena and is pictured aboard her winning ASH Hack Colt/Filly/Gelding 3 Years and Under winner, 'O'Brien's Refine' (O'Brien's Resette/Rosebrook Alish.

A delighted Grace Ivill rode Emma Richardson's super, 'Oak Park Paramount' to win the class for Open Ridden Shetland 10-10.2hh and go on to claim the Ridden Shetland Championship.

Successful Australian Stock Horse exhibitor, Susan Leahy rode the Myee Stud nomination, 'Myee Celebration' (Kirkby's Major/Myee Whisper) to win the class for ASH Gelding Over 4 Years 15hh and Under and go on to claim the Australian Stock Horse Hack Championship.

Tahlia Young rode her mother, Brooke Young's, 'Colvadale Omarin' to take third place in the class for Open Ridden Shetland 10hh and Under.

It has been a while since we have seen Francesca Christie riding a pony in the show ring and even longer, a Shetland. However as always Francesca carried it off brilliantly piloting the big moving Knox, Knox Morgan and Bowen nomination, 'Lentara Harveston' to win the class for Novice Ridden Shetland N/O 10.2hh an go on to take out the Reserve Champion Ridden Shetland award.

Evangeline Parsons rode Sarah Story's, 'Del lee Otis' with a little help from mum, Cassie Parsons to win the class for Leading Rein Pony 12hh and Under.

Kelleigh Henzen's, 'Bushdrift Fleetwood' (Boonderoo Blackwood/Lang Forest Rebecca) won the class for ASH Gelding 4 Years and Over, Over 15hh. All the Australian Stock Horse classes were conducted on the first day of the 2016 Royal Melbourne Show.

At her very first Royal Show, Cassidy Fry rode the Riverglen ASH Stud nomination, 'Tryanook Steely Dan' (Kirkby's Stud Officer/Tyanook Sienna) to win the class for Working ASH Ridden by a Junior Under 17 years

Chantelle Vella rode her typey and successful stallion, to win the class for ASH Hack Stallion aboard her, 'Cunnoo Destiny's Blueprint' (Acres Destiny/Comminyah Remembrance) and went on to claim the Reserve Champion Australian Stock Horse hack award.

Claudia McCormick rode her lovely, 'Leanda Hello Dolly' to win the AG Hunter Smartest On Parade for Girls/Boys 12 Years and Under.

Successful Australian Stock Horse breeder and exhibitor, Fiona Beer won the class for Working Australian Stock Horse Gelding/Stallion with her well performed, 'Waymere Oaks Legend' (Oaks Ebony/Trewarric Lady) and go on to claim the Alistair Irving Working Stock Horse Championship.

Michelle Wilton rode, 'Gee Bee Pimms' (Glen Lee Rivoli RayTech/Gee Bee Cocktail) to win the class for ASH Mare Over 4 Over 15hh. Michelle went on to take out the prestigious ASHLA class aboard Pimms.
