Amy Shadbolt led her, 'Alpha Proxima' by Stargazer to take third place in the Fashions Off The Track class.
The first class to get the morning of Thoroughbred Racing SA competition off and running, was the Fashions Off The Track. A tough class to judge with the outfit, how it matches the horse and the horse's conformation, manners and pacers all coming in to it. Jaimee Lea Bruggemann looked sensational to win and was well matched with Bettina Stanton's, 'Vienna Night Divine' that raced as Aussie Shout and went on to win the Thoroughbred Racing SA Lady's Hack and Reserve Champion Thoroughbred Hack.
Melanie Gear rode her, 'I'm Smokin' by Oamaru Force to win the class for Racing SA Novice Show Hunter Under 16hh.
Melissa Harding rode her, 'Fitness Fanatic' by Keeper to win both the Novice and Open Racing SA Show Hunter Over 16hh classes. They also won the class for Lady's TB Show Hunter and went on to be declared Thoroughbred Racing SA Champion Racehorse to Show Horse Show Hunter Champion.
Tegan Jaeschke's, 'Berenger' by Holt Roman Emperor IRE took fifth place in the class for Novice TB Show Hunter Over 16hh.
Jessica McDonald's, 'Honourable Kind' by Honours List IRE took fourth place in the class for Novice TB Show Hunter 16hh and Over.
Riley Shannon-Winzer rode Jan Clark's eye catching, 'Parishon' by King's Chapel to take second place in both the TB Show Hunter 16hh and Over Novice and Open classes and they went on to claim the Thoroughbred SA Racehorse To Showhorse Show Hunter Reserve Championship.
Sheldon Collins rode Jacki Anderson's, 'Poitier' by Redoute's Choice to win the class for SA Racing Gentleman's Show Hunter and take second place in the class for Open TB Show Hunter Under 16hh.
Dale Plumb earned a run in the Hack Championship ride off tomorrow by wining the Lightweight Hack class with his, 'DP Gisele'.
Katie Ramsay's, 'Inafrenzy' by Sharkbite took second place in the class for TB Hack 16hh and Over.
