2017 Adelaide Royal Show

Caitlin Fricker continued her good show this morning by taking second place in the Open 15-15.2hh class riding her own and Victoria Fricker's, lovely, 'Manorvale After Five'.

Stephanie Barrington rode Katie Sutton-Kouros', 'Daly Downs True Colours' to win the class for Lady's Hack and take second place in the class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh.

Conor Reed rode his, 'Clasique Dorien' to take second place in the Junior Grand prix this morning.

Georgia Price from Victoria had a great show in the Junior Jumping section. Georgia was named Most Successful Junior Rider and she won the Junior Grand Prix this morning riding the Most Successful Junior Horse, 'TP Classic Act.

To say that Jess Stalling had a super day is somewhat of an understatement. She was in outstanding form in both the hack and jumping rings. She is pictured aboard Asha Hendler's, 'EBL Richlist' that took second place in the class for Open Show Hunter 15.2-16hh. They went on to win the class for Lightweight Show Hunter Horse.

Brynie Lee produced a lovely workout riding her, 'SLM Valentino' to take third place in the class for Open Show Hunter 15.2-16hh.

Rachael Addison rode her, 'Xuberance' to fourth place in the class for Open Show Hunter 15.2-16hh.

Paul Austin rode Abbey Lovell's delightful, 'Dicavalli Royal Rory' to win the class for Open Show Hunter 15.2-16hh.

Margot Haynes was in great form today and is pictured aboard the Haynes, Quayle and Lakin nomination, 'Kolbeach Kings' that won the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Successful Victorian exhibitor, Penny Greenhill rode her lovely, 'Kolbeach Party' to take fourth place in the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Amelia Hooper rode her well performed, 'SLM Mastermind' to win the class for Open Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Georgia Grenwell rode the Grenwell and De Marco nomination, 'Rotsdom' by Rotspon to take third place in the class for Open Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Zenna Zilm's, 'Stuart Little' took second place in the class for Open Show Hunter 15-15.2hh.

Margot Haynes came back for a repeat performance and rode the Lawrie, Haynes and Quayle nomination, 'DQ Grace' to win the class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh.

Michelle Paynter rode her very well performed, 'DP Amazing' to take second place in the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh. They went on to win the Premier Award for Hacks Showing Thoroughbred Qualities.

Ryan Johnson-McNeil rode Debbie Johnson-McNeil's, 'Valedictorian' to fourth place in the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh. They went on to win the class for Gent's Hack.

Dale Plumb rode his, 'DP Kingdom' to win the class for Open Show Hunter 16-16.2hh.

Donna White took second place in the class for Open Show Hunter 16-16.2hh with her, 'Havenleigh Park Furst Knight'.

Smiles all round, as Greg Mickan leaves the ring aboard Alexia Fraser's, 'Dear Prudence' that won the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh.

What didn't Jess Stalling win today? She is pictured aboard her, 'Taittinger' that won the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh. She also won the Lady's Show Hunter Horse class riding Matilda Longbottom's, Power Play and the Lady's Galloway class riding Madeline Fraser, Royalwood Concerto.

Katie Ramsay's, 'Inafrenzy' took third place in the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Jessica Gibson rode her beautiful, 'Covert Affairs' to take fourth place in the class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

James Arkins came to Adelaide to win the Princess Royal Station World Cup Qualifier and he did just that with two dashing rounds riding the very careful and much travelled, 'Da Vincis Pride'.

Russell Johnstone has been progressing up the ladder with Gregor McCann's talented, 'Daprice' that jumped two super clear rounds in his first World Cup Qualifier for third place. Eight jumped clear over the tough 1.60m track in the first round, but only three could manage it again in the second round.

Billy Raymont had an uncharacteristic four penalties riding the Clark and Brice nomination, 'Anton' in the first round of the Princess Royal World Cup Qualifier. Billy jumped the fastest clear second round to finish in fourth place.

In between rounds, Jess Stalling was winning in the Hack and Hunter rings, but she held her concentration and her nerve to jump two super rounds riding her Vivant gelding, 'Diamond B Vermont' to take second place in the Princess Royal Station World Cup Qualifier.

The splendid Lynette and Ian Fritsch nomination, incorporating the wonderful, Lowanvale Elaenor, L. Lady Anne, L. Vallyce and Three Roads Lady Guinevere claimed the Kidman and Co Prize for Champion Multiple Tradesman's/Delivery Turnout.

Josh Clarke rode the John De Marco nomination, 'JD Montreal' to add the Open Show Hunter over 16.2hh class to his best Novice Show Hunter Horse title today.

Ali Berwick rode her own and Rebecca Crane's impressive, 'Federer' to take second place in the class for Open Show Hunter Over 16.2hh.

Rachel Wessel rode her super impressive, Rotspon mare, 'Bella Rossa' to take third place in a strong class for Open Show Hunter Over 16.2hh.
