Briony Randle rode Judy Ivory's lovely, 'KP Simply Exquisite' to win the class for Novice Galloway 14.2-15hh and the class for Galloway Mare.

Accomplished horsewoman, Carly Thomas rode her, 'Careal Chance Encounter' to have a successful morning in the Galloway classes, including taking third place in the class for Novice Galloway14.2-15hh.

Talented young Queensland rider, Mikayla Vankampen rode Pauline Drew's, 'Mistwood Park Lily of the Valley' (Rothwell Charmed Life/Oaklands Park So-Fear) to win the class for Novice Galloway 14-14.2hh and take out the Best Novice Galloway award. They then went on to win the Open 14-14.2hh Galloway class.

Tiffany Greenhill is certainly no stranger to Melbourne Royal Show and this morning rode her own and sister Penny's nomination, 'Tiffins Encore' (Frenleigh Front Page/Private Dreams) to win the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh and go on to claim the Best Novice Show Hunter Galloway award.

Jessica Robinson took out the class for Novice Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh with her, 'Orana Park Countess Supreme'.

Alli Madill from Murray Bridge in SA rode her 'Daisy Lane Huntsman' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway gelding 14-14.2hh and go on to be declared Reserve Champion Show Hunter Galloway

Zoe Weinberg is pictured aboard her own and G and J Laidlaw's nomination, the delightful, 'Kolbeach Crown' during the judging of the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Corporate high flyer and successful show rider, Stephanie Barrington rode the Barrington and Wight nomination, 'Wizard Town' to fourth place in the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Ben Laupert rode Beverley Richards', 'Ariston Liaison' to fourth place in the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Victoria Cameron's, 'Beechwood Caste In Gold' took third place in the class for Open Galloway 14-14.2hh

A busy Briony Randle rode Emily Murray's, 'Monument Park Superstar' to fifth place in the class for Open Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Greg Mickan rode Fiona Walsh's, 'Langtree Royal Affair' to win the class for Galloway Gelding 14-14.2hh as well as a number of other placings. That combined with victory in the class for Child's Galloway 14-14.2hh with Georgina Walsh in the saddle earned Royal Affair the inaugural Grand Parade Trophy presented by Melinda Ralph for Most Successful Galloway worked out on a points system.

Maria Shaw's, 'Gordon Park Sophie's Choice' took fourth place in the strong class for Open Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Sandra Natale's, 'Sanlirra Talk Of The Town' took sixth place in the strong class for Open Galloway 14-14.2hh.

It was a case of fourth time lucky for Briony Randle with the BC Equine and Burns and Banks nomination, 'Wesswoods Magic Caste'. The gelding by Oakvale Serenade out of the legendary Pure Caste has had huge success around the country, but thus far has only been Reserve Champion Galloway at Melbourne, three times. Today however the beautifully presented and good working horse won the class for Open Galloway 14.2-15hh and went on to be declared 2017 Royal Melbourne Show Champion Galloway.

Ebonie Lee rode her sister, Brynie Lee's, 'Silkwood Sublime' to win the class for Child's Galloway 14.2-15hh and go on to claim the Child's Galloway Championship.

Always one to watch. Michael Christie rode Joh Bailey's nomination, 'Argyl Fine Art' owned by the Graetz family to win the class for Galloway Gelding 14.2-15hh and go on to take out the 2017 Royal Melbourne Show Galloway Reserve Championship.

Well known showing personality, Brian Scholes rode his ,'Celtic Astro' to third place in the class for Gent's Show Hunter Galloway.

A very grown up looking Ava Halloran rode Alannah Halloran's, 'Gem Park Socialite' to win the class for Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Annalisa Phillips rode her, 'Balledor Encore' to win the class for Show Hunter Galloway Gelding 14.2-15hh.

Blaine Perkins rode Amanda McIntyre's well performed, 'Meteor Showers' to win the class for Gent's Show Hunter Galloway.

Holly Ticehurst rode her, 'Terra Felix XL' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Jess Stalling rode Brae Digney's very well performed, 'Royal Queen of Sefton' to win the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh and go on to claim the 2017 Royal Melbourne Show Hunter Galloway Championship.

Kathleen Mullan, looking splendid as always, but especially so today led the Knox Morgan, Knox and Brown nomination, 'Throne' to take third place in the Racing Victoria Spring Fashions At The Show Led OTT Thoroughbred class.

An elegant and colour co ordinated trio. An eye catching Rebekah Carrolan is pictured with Carissa Mcleod's Octagonal gelding, 'Optimal' with a smart looking Matt Snell along for support. They claimed second place in the Racing Victoria Spring Fashions At The Show Led OTT Thoroughbred class.

Looking gorgeous and as always smiling, Stephanie Barrington took out the Racing Victoria Spring Fashions At The Show Led OTT Thoroughbred class with her own and Katie Sutton-Kouros' nomination, the Cape Cross gelding, 'Daly Downs True Colours.

Always a busy day, Jess Stalling rode Chanele Hunter-Cooke's, 'Daisy Patch Soul Star' to win the class for Lady's Galloway.

Making a cameo appearance at his old hunting ground, Darryl Hayes, now resident in Queensland rode Shae Latimer's, 'Classic Image of Sefton' to win the class for Gent's Galloway.
