Grace Hill was on the end of the lead and Keely Keet in the saddle aboard Beverley Richards', 'Dell Lee Edward' and on their way to fourth place in the Shetland Turnout class for Riders 4-17 Years.

Dale Plumb is pictured with his, 'Oak Park Rock N Roll' and borrowed rider, Milla Romeo on their way to sixth place in the class for Shetland Turnout Riders 4-7 Years. Rock N Roll went on to win the class for Child's Ridden Shetland.

A happy threesome. Jeremy Roberts did the leading, Annabelle Richardson did the riding and Emma Richardson's wonderful, 'Oak Park Paramount' did the rest to win the class for Shetland Turnout Riders 4-7 Years.

Charlee Latham looks delighted to have taken fifth place in the strong Shetland Turnout class for Riders 4-7 Years.

Nicola Davis was on the end of the lead and Eva Parsons rode Cassandra Parsons', 'Del Lee Otis' to win the class for Pony Turnout led 12hh and Under.

With a little help from her friends, Yoko Poolkerd rode her, 'Wyatt Park Quontreau' to take second place in the class for Led Pony Turnout 12hh and Under.

Sabrina Gilmour rode Jane and Rebecca Gerber's, 'Royalview Midnight' to take second place in the class for Shetland Turnout Riders 8-10 Years.

Isabel Duke rode Elizabeth Daly's, 'Lentara Ozzie' to win the class for Shetland Pony Turnout, Riders 8-10 Years. The winning combination are pictured with L-R judge, Jo McKinnon and Margaret Luxford who is presenting the Norma Fear Memorial Trophies. Margaret is the late Norma's sister.

Tia Rose McKenzie and her, 'Bordershow Vanilla Ice' make a beautiful picture. They won the class for Pony Turnout 12.2hh and Under.

Ella O'Doherty rode her well performed, 'Pemberly Whisper' to take second place in the class for Pony Turnout 12.2-14hh Riders 10-11 Years.

Muirne Reilly and her 'Cheraton Brandy Snap' took sixth place in the class for Pony Turnout 12.2-14hh Riders 10-11 Years.

Olivia McCormack rode her, 'Deeplake Royal Symphony' to fifth place in the class for Pony Turnout 12.2-14hh Riders 10-11 Years.

Nicholas Grant did a good job aboard his delightful, 'Bimbadeen Bachelor Boy' to take fourth place in the strong class for Pony Turnout 12.2-14hh Riders 10-11 Years.

Sascha Parker-Eade from NSW rode her, 'Melody Park Heavenly Pearl' to take third place in the class for Pony Turnout Riders 10--11 years.

It does not seem long ago that Tess Hughes from MT. Gambier was competing in the Junior Turnout classes, now she is judging them! The glamorous young equestrienne is pictured wearing a fabulous hat/fascinator by Simply by Lulu.

The Shetland classes were huge as usual at Melbourne this year and from a large Novice Ridden Shetland, Kelly Young rode Jessica Robinson's, 'Otway View Xplorer' to win.

Indi Shepheard stepped aboard Amanda McIntyre's, 'Tara Park Onyx' to take third place in the class for Novice Ridden Shetland.

Francesca Christie has had a good 2017 Melbourne Royal and she is pictured riding the Knox, Knox-Morgan and Bowen nomination, 'Colvadale heritage' to claim fifth place in the class for Novice Ridden Shetland.

Dakota Pinton rode her, 'Carreg Wen Fairmont' to fourth place in the class for Novice Ridden Shetland.

Successful young rider, Izabella McIntyre rode Danyel Riemer's, 'Moondara Park Krystal' to win the class for Ridden Shetland 10-10.2hh and go on to claim the Champion Ridden Shetland award.

Stella Horspole rode Carolyn Bellman's, 'Moongalba Crystal' to take second place in the class for Ridden Shetland 10hh and Under.

Tyler Kelly rode Linda Byrne's, 'Ardenvale Breeze' to win the class for Ridden Shetland 10hh and Under and went on to take out the Ridden Shetland Reserve Championship.

Ella O'Doherty rode Jane and Rebecca Gerber's, 'Glen Arden Highlight' to take third place in the class for Ridden Shetland 10hh and Under.

Mackenzie Mamouney-Brown rode Kara Mamouney-Brown's, 'Gracedale Bracken' to take second place in the class for Ridden Shetland 10hh and Under.

Poppi Plumb had an amazing day today riding her dad and big sister, Daizi's, 'Mirinda Alabaster'. Poppi won the Pony Turnout 12.2-14hh, The AG Hunter Smartest On Parade class and went on to win her 10 - 12 Years Rider class and take out the 2017 Royal Melbourne Show Junior Rider Championship. And in between all that she won the Child's Ridden Shetland class riding, 'Oak Park Rock N Roll'.

Felicity Sutherland from Romsey rode well to take second place in the class for Girl/Boy Rider 10 AU12 Years.

Coco Guenther from Murrumbateman in the ACT won the class for Girl/Boy Rider 8-10 Years and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Junior Rider.

Ella Manning rode Catherine Gale's beautiful, 'Newington Tinkerbell' to take second place in the class for Child's Pony12.2hh and Under and went on to take out the Child's Pony Reserve Championship.

Isabel Duke was another young rider to have a wonderful day. She followed up her success in the Shetland classes by winning the class for Child's Pony 12.2hh and Under and went on to take out the Child's Pony Championship.
