Successful Victorian jumping rider, Ally lamb had a sensational day yesterday with two wins. Today however, she had to settle for a four penalty round in the Part 2 jump off class riding her talented, 'Diamond B Corsica' that won the Part 2 yesterday.

Victorian professional rider and trainer is pictured aboard G and S McCann's super, 'Daprice' during the Part 2 class today.

Jamie Priestley jumped a super round aboard her Vivant gelding, 'KS Optimus' to take third place as the fastest four faulter in the Part 2 class today.

Chris Chugg rode his imported seven year old Diorado gelding, 'Dito' to jump the only double clear to claim the Part 2 jump off class today.

Professional jumping rider and trainer, Clem Smith from Queensland was on song today. He rode his own and Leanne Bruggeman's, 'Guru' to post the first of the five Part 1 clear rounds this afternoon. A super jump off round could not be bettered and Clem and Guru claimed the Jim Barnes Memorial Perpetual Trophy.

Professional ACT jumping rider and trainer, Stephen Dingwall is pictured aboard his own and Simon Pidrefeter's, 'Dusky Farm Cavalier' during the Part 2 jump off class today.

Jamie Winning is pictured making a super jump aboard her imported mare, 'Zarissa' over the Winning Appliances fence during the Jim Barnes Memorial Part 1 class today.

Andrew Lamb's 'CP Argento' jumped well today but a fence down kept them out of the jump off of the Jim Barnes Memorial Part 1 class this afternoon.

Stuart Jenkins' talented Alimo gelding, 'Fairview Aliquidam' was his careful self today and jumped one of five first round clears in the Jim Barnes Memorial Part 1. They finished in third place.

Already in the winner's circle at the 2017 Sydney Royal, Brook Dobbin rode Angela and Marcus Cooney's lovely, 'Silvo'. Today they had to settle for fourth place in the Jim Barnes Memorial Part 1.

EA 2016 Domestic Rider of the Year, Clint Beresford is pictured aboard his wonderful, 'Emmaville Jitterbug' that took second place in the Jim Barnes Memorial Part 1 class today.

Steven Hill's impressive, 'Yalambi's Bellini Star' by Conquistador took fifth place in the Jim Barnes Memorial Part 1 class today.

Becky Jenkins slipped back to Cairns to give a clinic during Equifest last week, but is back in action at Sydney and is pictured making a super jump aboard her well performed, 'RSB Jacana' during the Jim Barnes Memorial Part 1 class today.

Last night Billy Raymont was pictured aboard a hack at the Grand Nationals and today he is back riding 'Anton' in the Jim Barnes Part 1. Is Billy experiencing some discipline confusion?

Andrew Inglis rode Jane and Stefan Mohr's, Agloria to second place in the Part 2 class.

Well known and successful international rider from WA, David Dobson rode his stallion, 'Concord Ego Z' to take fourth place in the part 2 jump off class this afternoon.

Another successful rider from the West, Caitlin Bolger is pictured aboard her talented Thoroughbred, 'Danzastar' during the part 2 jump off class this afternoon.

Kate Hinschen from Queensland is pictured aboard her 'CD Visage' making a good jump during the Part 2 class this afternoon.

With huge rain fall and some problems with the grass the wonderful Sydney Royal surface is not as good as normal. However, every effort is being made to ensure good footing for the jumpers including rolling the surface before and during the classes.

How good is it to see Jess Brown and her horses back competing at home. Jess is pictured during the Part 2 jump off class riding Rod Brown's, 'Equus Echo'.

International jumping rider, David Cameron rode Tony Norman's talented, 'Nicolette' to take fifth place in the Part 2 jump off class this afternoon. There were only two first round clears and the remainder of the placings were sorted out on time in the first round.

Suzie Willis is another young traveller making a welcome return to Sydney Royal. Suzie is pictured aboard, 'Anssioso Z' that is making a super jump over the Appliances On Line wall during the Part 2 jump off class.

Aaron Hadlow is pictured aboard his 'Vahlinvader' (Valhalla/Brilliant Invader mare) during the Part 2 jump off class today. Aaron is having a successful show with his talented horse that won the One Round Stakes earlier in the show.
