Watching Judy Dierks ride Vicki Newham's Diamond Hit gelding, 'Diamond Star' the general opinion was that this was the best test we had seen the pair produce. The Passage and piaffe tour demonstrated a great improvement and a couple of small mistakes aside, it looked the winning test. However what we did not factor in to the final score was that Judy entered the arena before the bell. She thought she heard the bell and was allowed in to the arena by the gatekeeper. The resultant penalty for this saw them finish in second place. However later the 2 point penalty was removed and Diamond Star finished in a well deserved first place with 69.30%.
