Anthony Thomas jumped a good round riding his , 'Southern Warlock', however the World Cup jumping rider opted to jump the Four Star last fence, and despite the increased difficulty, was eliminated.

Andrew Cooper from Victoria adopts a secure position aboard Rebecca Zamel's eye catching, 'Evergem Perfection' during the Horseland CCI 2 Star cross country. They jumped clear to move from 25th to 16th place heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Looking good early in the class, Emily McQueen retired her, 'King's Sun' later on the Horseland CCI 2 Star cross country course.

Popular Victoria rider, Nina Clarke jumped a super and confident cross country to move from tenth place to eighth aboard her, "Le Boudin' in the Horseland CCI 2 Star competition.

Successful Victoria rider, Natalie Davies added just 0.8 of a time penalty riding her Capone gelding, 'Chatswood Captivate' around the Horseland CCI 2 Star. They hold 17th place heading in to the jumping tomorrow.

Sydney professional Christine Bates kept her lead in the Horseland CCI 2 Star competition riding the Gundy park Pastoral's, Cooperit gelding, 'Kung Fu Panda GP' by producing a super clear cross country run.

Kirsty Douglas and her Irish Sport Horse, 'Cushavon Crackerjack' by Conqueror King, show the form that saw them move from fifth to third place in the Horseland CCI 2 Star after a super cross country run.

Deon Stokes is pictured in a lovely position aboard 'Koyuna Levi' during the CCI 2 Star cross country. The successful dressage and eventing rider from WA jumped a clear round to hold tenth place, up from 17th, heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Clyde x Tb Young Rider, Meryl Decker proves with her talented Thoroughbred/Clydesdale, 'Drummer' that good eventers come in all shapes and sizes and breeds. They jumped clear around the Horseland CCI 2Star cross country course with just the addition of 10.4 time penalties.

Western Australia has enjoyed a great deal of eventing success internationally. And they have a large and vocal band of supporters, that come with their own branding.

Megan Jones had three horses in the Horseland CCI 2 Star competition and she is pictured aboard the homebred, 'Kirby Park Invader' that moved from second to fourth with the addition of just 3.2 time penalties. Megan holds second place with 'Kirby Park Impress'. Megan and Kirby Park Allofasudden slipped from first to second place in the CCI 4 Star with the addition of time penalties. The competition is close and don't discount Megan from taking out and impressive double.

Phillippa Oversby is pictured galloping through the Rymill Park rose garden aboard her thoroughbred, 'Brooklands Brew'. They jumped a clear round and hold 19th place going in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Kate Rogers and 'Papas Dream' , a Thoroughbred by Nigh Shift jumped a clear round in the Horseland CCI 2 Star competition.

Wendy Schaeffer produced the expected copybook clear round riding the talented Deveraja Thoroughbred mare, 'Sun Showers'. They hold fifth place heading in to the final jumping phase and they are both known for their showjumping prowess.

Popular and experienced Victorian rider, Emily Anker is pictured aboard her Brilliant Invader gelding, 'Glenwood Park Cooper'. They added just six time penalties during their Horseland CCI 2 Star cross country run.

Young Rider, Sarah Dawson sits confidently as her 'Holland Park Calgary', a Thoroughbred by Flying Spur pops in to Rymill Lake during their Horseland CCI 2 Star cross country run.

Matt Gaske is pictured aboard his own and Ross and Mel Smith's New Zealand bred Pico Bello gelding, 'Coloraddo MVNZ' during their clear Horseland CCI 2 Star cross country run.

Picnic in the park. There was a party atmosphere at the 2014 Australian International Three Day Event, but not everyone was as well equipped as this trio.

Rob Vlasschaert from WA is pictured aboard his talented, 'Hanover Park Gianne'. Unfortunately they did not have the cross country run they would have liked in the Horseland CCI 2 Star competition.

Cindy Lyall and her Show A Heart Thoroughbred gelding, 'GI Joe' moved from 18th to eleventh place in the Horseland CCI 2 Star adding just 0.4 of a time penalty.

Tegan Lush and her Thoroughbred gelding by Jetball, 'Tempus Fugit' added just time penalties around the FEI CCI 4 Star cross country course. They are pictured jumping the Tour Down Under fence and they hold fifth place heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Jessica Manson from WA and her Stock Horse/Thoroughbred, 'Legal Star' jumped the CCI 4 Star cross country round of the day. They came home with just 2.8 time penalties to move from sixth place to first heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

The FEI CCI 4 Star cross country course was held up for almost half an hour whilst all hands did repair work to the landing out of the Rymill Lake. The landing had become like quicksand and it took all the time to secure the footing.

Isabelle English from Queensland is pictured aboard her super Connemara/Thoroughbred, 'Feldale Mouse'. They are pictured jumping out of Rymill Lake on to the repaired footing. Unfortunately they had a run out at the troublesome 6AB and rest in eighth place going in to the final phase tomorrow.

With helmet cam in place, Serums Marwood and his very attentive, 'Wild Oats' charge through the Rymill Lake. They too had a run out at the bogey 6B and hold eleventh place going in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Charlotte Price and 'Kinnordy Gambia' head straight through the Brand SA Keyhole during their FEI CCI 4 Star cross country run. They amassed a number of time penalties and hold tenth place after cross country day.

Successful Victorian eventing rider, Katja Weimann is pictured during her CCI 4 Star cross country run riding her home bred, 'BP Cosmopolitan' They hold ninth place heading in to the showjumping tomorrow.

Four Star debutantes, Libby Lowrey and 'KL Kismet' a Thoroughbred by Hurricane Sky show the determination that saw them post a great cross country run in the FEI CCI 4 Star. The effort moved them for 13th to third place.

Keira Byrnes and her wonderful Thoroughbred, 'Fox Hill' jump a super fence during their CCI 4 Star cross country run. They are in seventh place heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow.
