Border Districts Showjumping Club Grand Prix Show, Albury

Scottie Barclay rode Jess Barton's talented, 'Lamaz' in the McVean Memorial Grand Prix.

Amanda Lupton rode her, 'Bodyline' to jump four and clear in the McVean Memorial Grand Prix today to finish just out of the money.

Brook Dobbin rode the wonderful, 'Silvo' to take fourth place in the McVean Memorial Grand Prix on the second of two full days of jumping at the Border and Distract Showjumping Club Grand Prix Show. Brook also took second place in the Grand Prix riding the talented stallion, Carrado MVNZ.

Andrew Lamb rode his Vivant gelding, out of CP Argentina, 'CP Argento ' to win the McVean Memorial Grand Prix. The class was not a huge one, but the testing 1.40m David Sheppard track created an exciting competition and it took good and fast jumping to win. The excellent footing at the the Albury Equestrian center added to the good class.

Hayley Coman is pictured aboard , 'Coolart Farm Smiley' during the Future Stars class. Interestingly Hayley rode the horse in a bit that was not attached to the bridle.

Jess Barton rode her eight year old Vivant mare, 'Diamond B Valentina' to take second place in the Future Stars class.

Lianna Collins is pictured aboard her, 'Mr Bogart' during the Future Stars class. This two day show was well supported with riders from around Victoria heading just over the border.

Well known jumping rider and jumping horse breeder, Melissa Froesch jump a good clear first round in the Future Stars class riding her , 'Glenara Cognac'.

The beautifully presented pair of Robyn Todd and her, 'Rodeo Drive' took fourth place in the Future Stars class at the Border and District Showjumping Club Grand Prix Show.

Sophie Crooke from Rosedale in Gippsland is pictured aboard her , 'Nasam Artimore' during the Future Stars class.

Talented Young Rider, Jocob Wells rode the well performed Thoroughbred, 'Poets Corner' to take second place in the National Young Rider Series and spearheaded the Prydes Young Rider Team victory.

Teagan Chester jumped double clear aboard her well performed, 'Ellesmere Derilyn' to take third place in the National Young Rider Series class and contributed to the Prydes Young Rider Team victory.

Melissa Backman representing the Horseware Team rode her , 'Blackall Park Coloe' to fourth place in the National Young Rider Series class.

Holly Webb jumped four and clear aboard her, 'Kerrie Valley China' for the Pryde's Team in the Young Rider Team Competition.

Matilda Alexander rode her very well performed, 'Dreamtime Invader' to win the, National Young Rider Series class and help the Pryde's Young Riders trounce the opposition in the Young Rider Team competition.

Courtney Shears representing the Packair Team rode her, 'Unleashed' to jump a double clear and take fourth place in the 2016 National Young Rider Series class.
