Christie Hall rode her handsome ex racehorse, 'Connecticut' in the hack ring or 'Gergis' on the track in the Godolphin State Final ACT/NSW Thoroughbred OTT series. Gergis was the best performed horse on the track in the class, winning $500,000 and was trained by Godolphin.
The inaugural Godolphin State Final ACT/NSW Thoroughbred Off The Track Series was a well run class. Starting at 7pm each horse was introduced and given a workout and then striped and stood up to be judged by Chris Lawrie and Caroline Searcy. The racing career of each horse was supplied during the work out and winning race performances were re-played on the big screen.
