Today it was two shows for the price of one for harness competitors with the Barastoc Harness Horse of the Year events being conducted in conjunction with the Harness events of the Masters Games. This did make things a bit confusing but it did all seem to work out. Kathy Reynolds drove her Welsh B pony, Jenelle Buccaneer to win the Sulky or Buggy Turnout.

One of the most impressive combinations of the day were Jodie McKeone driving her mother's homebred Friesian Stallion, Shepherds Hill Gumboot. This four year old horse was driven in a 100 year old Dutch Sjess which is the only one in Australia. Gumboot won a number of classes including the Light Harness Turnout, any other vehicle. He went on to be declared EV Masters Games Supreme Champion Harness Horse.
Tessa Libreri rode her delightful Clydesdale x Standardbred, Destiny Magic Nell to win their dressage event today, place second in the Combined Training yesterday and place in the showjumping this afternoon. Nell who at 8 years old has only recently started her ridden career after being mother to two good foals.
The light rain in the morning cleared for several hours to be replaced by torrential rain in the afternoon. Despite the weather, Micky Morris was delighted with her performance riding AWP Royal Harmony in the Preliminary 1.1.

A Anzac day fly over of Werribee Park was not organised by EA but a minutes silence was acknowledged and the Last Post was playing when the planes flew over. The competition was also conducted in a very friendly and encouraging manor.
Julie Mills has plenty of pulling power and plenty of movement from her , 17.2hh purebred Clydesdale, 'Kaaru Flash Duke'. Julie has had Duke since he was 15 months old and it is her ambition to have the first Clydesdale competing at Grand Prix. Today he won both Advanced tests.
