Gatton World Cup Showjumping

The Gatton World Cup Show is conducted at the spacious Gatton Showgrounds. Two rings occupied the huge main arena which had plenty of work on it for the jumping competition. The show was well organised and welcoming and one of the best we have been to for some time.

Rhys Stones jumped a lovely first round clear aboard the super, 'Oaks Altador' (ASB Conquistador/Oaks Altes) during the Brown and Hurley Mini Prix Final

Olivia Hamood and her , 'Carado GHP' by Caratino out of a Cassini 1/Carrado mare provided the highlight of the Gatton World Cup Show. Olivia's riding is exemplary and the 15.2hh gelding from the Czech Republic, a delight. The seven year old attractive grey has plenty of stride and scope and will be worth watching as they progress.Yesterday they won the Stars of the Future class and today took fourth place in the Brown and Hurley Mini Prix Final on time.

Mitchell Peulic from Sydney rode his, 'CW Conquest' to take sixth place in the Brown and Hurley Mini Prix Final

Although Paula Hamood has lost her good position a little in this photo, she is riding better than ever. She rode 'Glen Haven Avion' to take second place in the Brown and Hurley Mini Prix Final

Sydney rider, Tallara Barwick rode her well performed, 'Copabella Verdi' to jump a super first round clear in the Brown and Hurley Mini Prix Final. They finished the class in tenth place.

Successful South Australian rider, Nicole Bruggemann jumped a super double clear aboard her, 'Marine' to take fifth place on time in the Brown and Hurley Mini Prix Final.

The young Queensland rider gets better with every outing and today took out the Fairview Performance Horses Junior Championship Final riding 'Flowervale Diamond'. Brooke also took second place aboard, 'Phantom Vortex'.
