The Tapp family has a great reputation as accomplished riders in this part of the world and Sophia Tapp is clearly carrying on the family tradition. Sophia rode , 'Foxy's Lady' to second place in the class for Hunter 14-15hh.

Jennifer Jones rode her Warmblood/Arab, 'Illarak Donnerge' to win the class for Registered EA Hack Over 15hh and take second place in the Open 15-15.2hh Hack class.

Madina Hayman had a sensational show at the 50th Anniversary of the Katherine Show. Yesterday she was declared Supreme Champion Rider and today she claimed the Champion Hack and Supreme Ridden Exhibit with her well educated, 'Kiana Blue Murder'.

Isabella Leonhardt from Katherine rode her, 'Leeton Park Alkazar' to win the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh and go on to take out the Pony Hack Championship. Later in the day after a Hack, Galloway and Pony rider off, Alkazar was declared Reserve Champion Hunter.

Letitia Robertson out performed her three brothers and rode her, 'Oaklands Park Candyman' to take out the Galloway Hack Championship and the Galloway Hunter Championship. later they were declared Supreme Hunter of the Show.

Jacqui Goold from Darwin rode her, 'Acacia Ridge Windsong' to third place in the class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Ruscoe Robertson rode his well performed, 'Amaranda Mochachino' to win the class for Open Pony N.E. 13hh and go on to be declared Reserve Champion Pony.

Mel Goss rode her, 'Ramadan Arabian Olympia' to claim the Champion District Hack award and the Reserve Champion Galloway title.

The annual Katherine Show is always accompanied by a crowd pleasing campdraft. Noel Chiconi rode his , 'Mountain Top Virginia' to win the Final of the Maiden Draft with a two round score of 177.

Nicole Mutimer from Darwin is pictured wit her Off the track Thoroughbred, 'Mon Amour'. The typey horse at his first show was a little overawed by all the showground action. They are pictured during the Open 15-15.2hh class and they will also be in action in the showjumping.

Kayla Kurnof and 'Elvis' looking all intent in this photograph won the Lady's Draft.

Warren Clarris, a regular and successful competitor in the Top End is pictured aboard , 'Cascade' during the Maiden Draft Final.

Rory Fitzgerald took second and third place in the Novice Draft Final and is pictured aboard second placegetter, 'Erin Spin Rey'.

Nancy Nyberg claimed the District Hack class with her delightful 20 year old. 'Mt Sandford San'.

Sam Greenup and , 'Fashion Model' have this beast well on the turn around the second peg during the Novice Draft Final.

Tom Curtain's drafting style was a little different from most in that he kept his , 'Oaks Bailey' away from the beast a little. Whatever his technique, it worked a treat and saw them finish the Novice Draft Final in equal fifth place with a score of 175 over the two rounds.

Sam Tapp and , 'Kooda' put on the pace to get this beast home. They took equal fifth place in the Novice Draft Final with a score of 175.

David Becky and , 'Hawian Moonlight' look to be working hard to get the better of this fast Brahmin steer during the final of the Novice Draft.

The competition day at the 50th Annual Katherine Show starts early and Lorraine Davies was up early with her, 'Reflection' to take third place in the Maiden hack Over 15hh class.

Todd Tengrove and , 'Dixie Chick' produced two great runs of 90 to win the final of the Novice Draft with an impressive 180.

Christina Jones, one of a number of successful lady riders took fourth place in the Novice Draft final riding , 'Rogans Romana' with a score of 176.

The main arena at Katherine is a green and colourful contrast to the campdraft arena just a few meters away. Successful competitor, Shelby Reynolds riding 'Pye' led the Grand Parade after the official opening.

Nicola Copland rode her Thoroughbred/riding Pony, 'Sanlirra Cavalier' to win the class for Open Hack Over 16hh.

The Robertson crew from Kununurra were up early and up to their usual successful form. Dominic Robertson rode his , 'Rustic Halo' to win the class for Maiden Hack Over 15hh and take second place in teheclass for Open Hack Over 16hh.

Yesterday at the 50th Annual Katherine Show , Brodie Robertson, the eldest of the four riding Robertsons was declared Champion Rider Under 18 Years. Today Brodie rode his handsome, 'Clarendon Park Arctic Monkey' to third place in the class for Open Hack Over 16hh.

Rachael Hayden rode her Australian Stock Horse, 'Distant Hitman' to fourth place in the class for Open Hack Over 16hh.
