One of the highlights of the SHCV Saturday evening programme were the innovative Fashions Off The Track classes. We dress the horses up, so why not the handlers who came, some with a little help in their race wear best. Catherine Shelley was beautifully matched with her lovely 'Pinky' and claimed the Fashionistas (over 40) Championship.
"It takes two". Briony (Payne) Randle usually needs no help at all to control a horse, but concern for her elegant Melbourne Cup outfit had Jeremy Roberts assist with the presentation of the beautiful, 'Entourage' in the Fashions Off The Field Fillies class.
Well known showing personality, Fiona McIntyre gave her beautiful and successful racehorse, 'Sirmione' a racing look. As a racehorse, Sirmione won over $1,800,000 in prize money. They were one of the elegant combinations in the Fashionistas Off The Track class.

The eight year old Domesday gelding executed some good flying changes and showed a range of pace in the trot. He went on to be declared 2015 Runner Up National Champion Off The Track horse.
