Another New South Wales rider that always makes the trip down to Victoria for the Dressage Festival, Megan Bryant, riding "Mr Jackson" in the Small Tour Championship, its great the Dressage Festival has such a National flavour with many interstate combinations coming along, and we greatly appreciate their participtaion.
Susan Eckersley from New South Wales rode the lovely Black Gelding "Don Rubin" placing 5th in the FEI Intermediate I Freestyle with a score of 67.417%
It's not often the rider is nearly the same age as the horse in a Small Tour Championship, in this case though 15 year old Tayla Desmet rode "Rodrigo III" to take 5th place in the Small Tour Championship, an amazing result for such a talented young rider, in a field of very experienced combinations, its fantastic to see so much young fresh talent coming up through the ranks.

Ian Smith came all the way from Western Australia to ride his lovely Stallion "Dornkaart", the trip proving worthwhile with Ian placing 2nd in the very prestigous Aachen Challenge Final

Tori Stuckey was also a finalist in the prestigous Aachen Challenge pictured ridng "Mayfield Be Brave", the standard of this years enties was exceptional overall, and it was fantastic to see such a great group of young riders competing in such a wonderfully friendly spirit, something the oldies could take a lesson from, and also great to see such a National flavour with riders entered from most States.

"Westbury Spitfire" placed 5th in the Pony Novice 2.3 ridden by Kristy Sparkes, her score 70.087%
Amanda Shoobridge rode the wonderful imported dressage Pony Stallion "Noble Dancer" to win the Pony Novice Class with a score of 76.724%. Amanda tells me now Noble dancer has proven his worth, she has started working on husband David to bring in another Imported Dressage Pony.... good luck Amanda
Lucy Moate rode "Niscinda Welsh Torque" in the Pony Novice 2.3, Lucy a keen Pony Dressge competitor at EV and Interschool events
