2014 Sydney International Horse Trails

Ruslan Petkov rode Sue Knox's impressive Escudo stallion, 'Yirrkala Edward' that is out of Yirrkala Cortina that is competing successfully with James Passey in Europe. The stallion took second place in the class for Five Year Old Young Showjumping Horses that was part of a full showjumping programme including a World Cup Qualifier that is being conducted during the Sydney International Horse Trials.

Due to a mishap at Albury last week, Stuart Tinney did not feel that John and Jane Pittard's, 'Pluto Mio' was in peak condition to contest the Sydney CCI Three Star event. The WEG hopefuls will now rest their selection chances on their performance at the Melbourne Three Day Event in June. Never one to waste an opportunity, Stuart performed the CCI Three Star Test Rider aboard the talented Daley K gelding.

Hazel Shannon opened the Sydney CCI Three Star competition riding Wendy Ward's Thoroughbred by Side Spin, 'Clifford'. They hold equal ninth place after the dressage phase with a score of 53.60

After the CCI Three Star dressage phase, WEG Team hopeful, Craig Barrett holds sixth place riding the Suborned's talented Staccato mare, 'Sandhills Brillaire' with a score of 47.00.
