Sophie Smith from Roseberry in NSW is pictured aboard her, 'King Cobra' during the tough Junior Grand Prix this morning.

Although outnumbered by the girls, Junior rider, Bradley Arnold-Crooks from Scone in NSW put up a good showing aboard his, 'Kinnordy Georginus' during the Junior Grand Prix this morning.

Cade Hunter and the super successful, 'Kelstar' was the only combination to jump a double clear in the Junior Grand Prix this morning for victory. Cade has had a successful show in this Section and earned the Maurice Gordon Memorial Perpetual Trophy for Most Successful Junior Boy Rider.

Lucy Evans is pictured aboard her Vivant mare, 'Vivajoy' during the Junior Grand prix.

Popular and successful Junior and Young Rider, Riley MacKillop rode his 'TM Admiral Venture' to fifth place in the tough Junior Grand Prix this morning. The Grand Prix was the final Junior class of the show.

Jessie Rice-Ward from Dubbo on NSW was in the money again with her wonderful and talented Thoroughbred, 'Bonaventure' that jumped clear and four to take third place in the Junior Grand Prix this morning. Their good form in the Junior Section earned Jessie the Helen Rose Memorial Perpetual Trophy for Most Successful Junior Girl Rider.

BC & CD Hardy's, 'Bellingara Twilight' *Cresswell The Conqueror/Bellingara Tigerlily) shown by Matt Dunn won the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Filly 2 Years and Under.

Jason McRae took out the Palomino Mare/Filly Reserve Championship with his, 'Paulgren Park Vanity'.

Summa Crockett is delighted with her, 'Top Model' that was declared Champion Palomino Mare/Filly.

Anthony Pauling is having a great show with his and Tricia Pauling's, 'Paulgren Park Victory ' that was declared Champion Stallion/Colt and Supreme Champion Led Palomino.

Stephanie Mackillop's, 'Yirrkala Exclusive' is pictured making a sensational jump during the tough Young Rider Grand Prix today. It is hard to imagine from this photograph, but they had one down in the first round.

Madeline Sinderberry and her super, 'Fernhill Zin Zan' show the form that saw them claim the Robert and Joyce Brook Annual Trophy for Most Successful Young Rider. They jumped four and clear to take fourth place in the Young Rider Grand Prix.

Gemma Tinney jumped four and clear in the Young Rider Grand Prix today riding the Staccato mare, 'Panamera' that her father, Stuart rode to win the 2011 Adelaide Four Star Three Day Event. They finished just out of the top placings on time.

Jamie Priestley looks pleased to be clearing the last fence in the first round of the Young Rider Grand Prix riding her Vivant gelding, 'KS Optimus'. Pleased because she jumped the first of only two clear rounds and went on to repeat the performance and win the class.

With Chris Chugg causing a sensation at the World Cup Final, Eliana Dery rode his former horse, 'Black Currency' in the Young Rider Grand Prix.. They both look as if they are loving up to Chugg's good example. That and some good coaching from Maree Hewitt

Wendy Trimble and Janet Noble's 'Tooravale Choisya' (Weston Park Vision/Tooravale Celeste) shown by a real Welshman, David James was declared Reserve Champion Welsh B Mare or Filly.

Tahnaya Ferris has had a successful Show with Karen Shaw's. 'Xanadu of Sefton' (Rathowen XL/Amazing Grace of Sefton) that today won the class for Ridden Riding Pony Mare/Gelding N/ E 12.2hh.

Melanie Skinner and Dianne Godfrey's, 'Royalwood Songstress' (Royalwood Boy Soprano/Oakvale Songster) won the class for Ridden Riding Pony Mare/Gelding 13.2-14.2hh and was declared Reserve Champion Ridden Riding Pony.

Trinette Crawford rode Belinda Sibley's beautiful, 'Robbanie Chart Topper' (Royalwood Boy Soprano/Robbanie Sweet Dreams) to win the class for Ridden Riding Pony 12.2-13.2hh and claim the Ridden Riding Pony Championship.

The Baxter, Jackson, Haber and Anjara Park nomination, 'Springtime Park Everlasting' (Rotherwood Footlight/Springtime Cherrylane) won the class for Ridden Riding Pony Stallion.

On a damp Tuesday afternoon, with the show winding down, the Welsh ponies brightened up the afternoon. Steve Paris, Gordon Ball and the Fernbrook Stud's, 'Imperial Proclaim' (Eyarth Tigre imp/Imperial Picture That) took second place in the class for Welsh Section B Stallion 4 Years and Over.

Karen Thomson led her own and Chloe Cook's, 'Glenmore Welshman' (Cherrington Mozart/Pendaith Winsome) to claim the Welsh Section B Stallion/Colt Championship.

Despite a broken arm, Daniel Harvey could still run and did the honours with Ruth Anderson's, 'Bells Mountain Pollyanna' (Karanga Valentino/Imperial Picture Perfect) to be declared Champion Mare/Filly and Supreme Led Welsh Section B.

Joanne Bailey's, 'Hollydale Evelyn Rose' (Kenda Park Rising Star/Froben Park Elena Rose) was declared Best Welsh Section C Exhibit.

Melinda King's handsome Cob, 'Cwmkaren Twyysog Du' (Nebo Dyfrig Express/Tyngwndwn Dancing Princess) was declared Best Welsh Section D Exhibit.

Anthony Mountney needed all his stamina to show the Cherrington Ponies, Gates and Heyne nomination, 'Eagle Park Play With Fire' (Imperial Nevada/Barn Hill Ping Pong). The 2 Year Old Colt was declared Champion Stallion/Colt, Supreme Welsh Mountain Pony and took out the Nattai Perpetual Trophy for The Supreme Welsh Exhibit

Popular horse steward Ken Cameron was awarded for his long service of 58 years to Sydney Royal with the Champions Award.
