Victorian Interschool Championships 2014

Samantha Brooks from Mackillop College Werribee rode her 25 year old experienced games pony, Roxy to post an excellent time in the Novelty Section to take third place in the Secondary Year 11 and 12 section. The event consisted of a number of scaled down Pony Club games run together as a timed course.

Michaela Mummery and Raine represented Clonard College in the Novelty section. Today's riders had the choice of Novelties, Handy Mount and Combined Training (dressage and showjumping).

Saffron Wardrop-Brown rode Barrington Royal Ensign for Haileybury College in the Primary Handy Mount.

Benjamin Peterson from Bacchus Marsh Grammar rode Woody in the Primary Handy Mount. Benjamin was also competing for a new prize at the Interschools, Leading Boy Rider.

Poppy Clemence from St Paul's AGS Warragul rode well to coax her 20 year old ex-show pony Kooyong Diamond over the bridge in the Primary Handy mount.

The Interschool's today had a more relaxed atmosphere with a number of children just having lots of fun on their ponies. Penny Marshall and Pocket Rocket from Bacchus Marsh Primary School were having lots of fun in the Handy Mount.

Anastasia Minter from Avenel Primary rode the very careful Nattai Cosmos who was not going to touch a pole in the Primary Handy Mount.

Edward Darby rode Africa Day for Ivanhoe Grammar School in the Horse Barn Saddlery Combined Training Secondary Intro 80 cm Div. 1. There were 14 divisions/sections/heights of Combined Training.

Brooke Wheeler from Trafalgar High School rode MTR Pokeface to take fourth place in the Horse Barn Saddlery Combined Training Secondary Intro 80 cm Div. 1.

Dakoda Lyne and My Haven Intrigue represented Balcombe Grammar t take seventh place in the Horse Barn Saddlery Combined Training Primary 65cm.

Cohen Wade and Tapu Manhattan represented Gippsland Grammar in the Horse Barn Saddlery Combined Training Primary 65cm.
