Megan Howe seems to be saying to the Howe Family Equine nomination, 'Nawarrah Park Pandora' (Llanarth Cardiff Arms imp UK/Annan Phoebe) that she should stand up and behave. Megan had no worries on that account, as the super mare won the class for Welsh Section D Dry mare, was declared Champion Section D female and Reserve National Champion D .

Mark Brown always puts on a good show and he did a lot of running today. He is pictured with his own and Denise Brown's, 'Indi Brynmore-Jones' (Indi Llewellyn/Indi Zeta-Jones) that won the class for Welsh Section D Stallion, was declared Champion D male and 2017 National Champion Section D.

The weather turned a bit damp for the final presentations and this combination felt the worst of it. Lee Dunstan rode Erica Clark's, 'Devine Festive Occasion' (Whiterose Michelangelo/Falconhurst Festivity) to be declared National Champion Ridden Part Welsh. The successful pony was also declared Champion Led Senior Partbred Welsh.

Dimity Chalmers rode Anne Cochrane's, 'Wyann X Centric' (Amaranda Swiss Chalet/Hunters Hill Hummingbird) to claim the Champion Ridden Welsh Section B title and went on to be declared 2017 National Champion Ridden Welsh Exhibit.

Michelle O'Connell's , Osory Bling' (Osory Tally-Ho/Osory Shania) was declared Champion Ridden Welsh Mountain Pony and Reserve National Champion Ridden Welsh Exhibit.

Steven Renton is pictured on the run with Jayde and Daniel Whitehead's, 'Burrowa Glitz 'N' Glamour' (Bergavenny Achilles (Imp) / Burrowa Capricorns Gem) that won the class for Welsh Section C Filly and went on to be declared Champion Section C Youngstock.

" I did it, I won". Cheryl Bunting always has an outstanding foal to show and this year was no exception. Her splendid, 'Primrose Park St David' (Mariana Lodge Eltiyan/Primrose Park Super Sally) was declared 2017 National Champion Foal.

Luke Dawes led the Bamborough Stud's, 'Bamborough Jasilla' (Imperial juggler/ Bamborough Jiselle) to be declared Champion Welsh B Female and 2017 National Champion Welsh B.

Katie Parry led Luke Dawes', 'Pant-Y-Ffynon Cariad' (Llangollen Top Notch/Imperial Caprice) to win the class for Two Year Old Welsh Mountain Pony Filly. The lovely pony went on to be declared Champion WMP Youngstock and 2017 National Champion WMP. And finally they were declared IRT Best Welsh In Hand.

Michael Gates led, Elizabeth Daly's, 'Wynara Illusion' (Royalwood Boy Soprano/Tilley Park Trick Or Treat) to win the class for Part Welsh Two and Three Year Old Colt/Filly/Gelding to mature Over 13.2hh. They went on to be declared Champion Youngstock Part Welsh and then 2017 National Champion Part Welsh In Hand.

Stuart Robinson led Judy Ritchie's beautiful, 'Bamborough Popping Candy' (Llangollen Top Notch/Bamborough Kit Kat) to second place in the strong class for Welsh Mountain Pony Yearling Filly on day two of the 2017 Welsh National Show.

Michael Gates did the honours with Frances Best's, 'Kiabe Paseul' (Shore Brooks How Ever imp NL/Osory Parisian) to win the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Two Year Old Colt.

J Beckwith and R Johnson's nomination, 'Charmosa Celebrity' (Glynyarra Park Cadence/Llanfairbryn Corn Silk) took fifth place in the strong class for Two Year Old WMP Filly.

A much in demand Mark Brown led Dr Harry Cooper and Susan Sheeran's, 'Arcadian Patriot' (Imperial Nirvana/Imperial Parfait) to take second place in the class for Three Year Old WMP Colt.

Steven Renton led the Shanamon Stud's, 'Shanamon Quest' (Nilton Starcraft/Owendale Quiz) to second place in the class for Three Year Old Welsh Mountain Pony Filly.

Anthony Mountney led Dr Harry and Susan Sheeran's, 'Arcadian Made of Honour' (Osory Mr Sandman/Creswell Madonna) to win the class for Yearling WMP Filly.

Daniel Harvey is pictured on the run with Lyn and Luke Heyne's wonderful, 'Eagle Park Play With Fire' (Imperial Nevada/Barn Hill Ping Pong) that won the class for Three Year Old WMP Colt and was declared Champion male Welsh Mountain Pony and Reserve Champion WMP Youngstock and Reserve National Champion WMP .

Jack Forge is pictured presenting Daniel Harvey's, 'Eagle Park Babalicious' (Imperial Nevada /Imperial Blaze) that won the class for Three Year Old WMP Filly.

Jade Worthington did a splendid job of showing Lillian Cooke's, 'Kawanna Park Shivanna' (Elargee Two Up/Kawanna Chanelle) that won the class for WMP Dry Mare Four Years and Over.

Janet and Chris Murphy's, 'Keyi Sirocco' (Pontsteffan Simwnt imp?Weston Park Samantha) was declared Champion Welsh B Youngstock and Reserve Champion Welsh B male.

Ashley Porter's lovely, imported stallion, 'Heniarth Whistle Down The Wind' (Lemonshill Top Note/Eyarth Wind Flower) was declared Champion Welsh B Male.

Like mother we hope like daughter. Mark Bullen's, 'Imperial Baled' is pictured proudly posing with her winning WMP Foal, 'Imperial Babette'.

AJ and A Kay's, 'Torlyn Cardiff' (Nattai Calypso/Nattai Cariad) was declared Reserve Champion WMP Male.

Popular Welsh Mountain Pony breeder, exhibitor and judge, Gary Le Brocq led Christina Taylor's, 'Nattai River Shinning Light' (Nattai Calypso/Nattai Luminous 2nd) to win the class for WMP Broodmare.

Gary Le Brocq is very pleased with his first foray in to breeding a Welsh C. 'Torlyn Tosca' (Synod Aristocrat imp/Torlyn Tarian) that won the class for Welsh C Yearling Filly went on to be declared Reserve Champion Welsh C Youngstock.

Anthony Mountney led Rebecca Lee's versatile, 'Cataraqui Hasufel' (Nattai Sprig/Cataraqui Arielle) to take second place in the class for Welsh Section C stallion and go on to be declared reserve Champion Section C Male.

Anne Creed from Wangaratta claimed the National Junior Judging title for Victoria. Well done Anne.

Caroline Purcell is pictured with her own and Alissa Heffernan charming, 'Nawarrah Park Astro Boy' (Synod Aristocrat imp UK/Endymian Allison) that won the class for Section C Welsh Gelding.

J Beckwith and R Johnson's charming, 'Woranora Jasper' (Ysselviedts Golden Boy imp NL/Woranora Jewel) won the class for Led Welsh Mountain Pony Gelding

David James did the honours with Wendy Trimble's typey and good moving, 'Tooravale Concerto' (Weston Manhattan/Weston Park Candice) to win the class for Led Welsh B Gelding and go on to claim the National Champion Led Welsh Gelding title.

With a bit of experience up her sleeve, Diana Lawrence drove, 'Westbury Sabrina' (Synod Aristocrat imp UK/Westbury Sybil) to win the class for Driven Mare/Filly/Gelding of Section C or D Breeding.

Chris and Lisa Finnis' handsome, 'Bookra Mint Edition' (Grenwood Norseman/Bookra Aur Cymru) won the class for Welsh Section D Two and Three year Old Colt.
