As storm clouds loomed to the south, designer/builder of this year's attraction Millitary Tattoo's Castleglen, puts the finishing touches to the set. Terry Newcomb from Toowoomba has been working on the design and construction of the Castleglen for the past 12 months and should be quite a spectacle for the evenings event

A great effort by Aaron Brown competing in his first Elementary test after his own horse was unable to compete and a week ago Linda Shore loaned him 'River Range Coverup' to ride. The pair placed 5th in the Official Elementary 3.2 competition

Jessica Summers had a great day of competition riding 'Fairbanks Golo' winning the Official Elementary 3.2 and also the Official Novice 2.3 competitions

Mother duck didn't seem too concerned with all the new campers on site as she took her young ones out for a late afternoon walk

The measuring bay was a buzz with horses lined up to go under the expert eyes of Gail Iskra and June Ingram, the official measurers

The grounds were quickly transforming during the day with an array of horse floats, goosenecks and stalls. Competitors had time after settling their horses in to hit the stalls for some much needed goodies
