The led classes held early Sunday morning gave prospective buyers at the Select For The Future Sale a closer look at the stock being offered later in the day at the sale
A large crowd of interested people & prospective buyers followed the sale catalogue with interest, some from interstate by mobile phone and others flying in to attend in person from as far as Victoria

Darren & Kathy De Jong from Manilla NSW were delighted with the sale of their 1 yr olf colt 'Ophir Command' sired by 'Kirkbys Stud Officer' & dam 'Ophir Victoria'. The highest priced colt sold at the sale & Central Qld purchaser Toni O'Neill intends to use the colt for campdrafting.
Landmark Auctioneers Mark Scholes and Peter Brazier were kept on their toes as bidders furiously made offers on the lots offered
The 11th Select For The Future Sale saw 58 horses sold, 19 passed in & 10 withdrawn with an average price of $3336 making it a very successful sale and with the drought conditions as they are, there were no obvious signs with the standard & quality offered for sale
Lot 87 'Kyeema Sunda' received plenty of interest with bids and finishing off with the highest price to be offered for a Broodmare sold at the sale. The vendor from Bungunya also received the award for the Best Presented Broodmare receiving $200 from Landmark. The Mare is in foal to the successful Open campdraft sire 'Hazelwood Conman'
The stalls where the sale horses were stabled was a buzz with prospective buyers getting a last look before the sale commenced

The arena wasn't big enough for the huge number of entries in the Australian Stock Horse Progeny Pair by same sire or out of same dam,so judge, Joanne Fraser was forced to split the class into two to allow enough area for the presentation of the horses
