Calboy Magic & Mark Cathcart were the champions of the Tan-A-Lou Quarter Horses Intermediate Open.

Sheridan Deede rode BPS Double Century to a win in the Beginner Rider event at the 2008 Fraser Coast Reining Spectacular.

The winners of the Equine Communications Horse 4 Years & Under event & co-champions of the Dix Welding Works Open Futurity were Sinful Destiny & Warren Backhouse.

For the second consecutive year, Errol Thomas has taken out the Diamond T Goosenecks Non-Pro Futurity. This year he was successful aboard Starlights Mesquite.

Reserve Champions of the Tan-A-Lou Quarter Horses Intermediate Non-Pro were Oakies Spark & Tim Hoffmann.

Winners of the Blue Dog Beginner Horse Reining & co-champions of the Dix Welding Works Open Futurity were Uno Chick & Sue Franks.

Hug Me Amber King & Rod Osborne took out both the Torquay Hotel Open Non-Pro & the Earles Leatherworks Prime Time Non-Pro at the 2008 Fraser Coast Reining Spectacular.

Cookie Monster & Darren Simpson were the co-champions of the Ariat Clothing Rookies Professional & the champions of the Showdown Rugs Limited Open.

Jewel Gibbs & El Eban Amigo slide out of the shadows & into the sun on their way to winning the Thomas Manufacturing Youth 14 - 18 Years Reining.

Equal third in both the Open Non-Pro & the Prime Time Non-Pro were Heavy Duty Dually & John Bourke.

The winners of the KC Saddlery Limited Non-Pro were Miel Little Diamond & Judy Cox.

Sunrise Calgirl & Ian Kindt enjoyed a good show with wins & placings in various events, including a win in the Remax Heritage Non-Pro Derby.

A feature charity event was the Pink Ribbon Mare Challenge (to aid breast cancer research) which was won by Cricketts Smart N Sassy ridden by Warren Backhouse.
