Tom McDermott won the Harbour IT Junior Championship Round 1 this morning and this afternoon Tom outrode his more senior peers to win the first round of the Lisa Ho Futurity riding the ex Wes Joyce mare, 'LH Annie-Elka'.

Impressively, young professional, Danielle Butcher qualifier two horses for the first qualifying round of the Lisa Ho Futurity, 'Twins Zenith' (pictured) and 'Twins Lovesong'. Danielle was just out of the money on both horses, but it is early days yet for the 2011 National Futurity.
