2011 Reining Australia Futurity & Continental Championships

Ruf Lil Renee* & Warren Backhouse took home a swag of goodies for their high scoring wins in the Continental Affiliate & RA Novice Horse Open (148) & Open (149.5) & the RA Open Classic (151).

The worthy winners of the Michelle Halliwell Memorial Non-Pro & the Continental Affiliate & RA Non-Pro were Hasta La Vista & Haley Backhouse with a score of 148.5. The pair also took out the Reserve Championship in the RA Non-Pro Classic with a score of 147.5.

The Continental Affiliate & RA Intermediate Non-Pro Champions with a score of 143 were Chics Navajo & Jolene King.

Dr House & Noel Watson were the Champions of the Continental Affiliate & RA Intermediate Open events with a score of 144.

Third in the hotly contested RA Open was Sheza Smart Whizz & Martin Larcombe with a score of 146.5.

A very pleased Bayley Lowe (Cool Little Badger) with very proud parents, Karen & Devin, after being named the Reserve Champion of the Continental Affiliate & the RA Youth 13 Years & Under Reining events.

Cameron Halliwell rode Bamba Lamb to his sixth consecutive win in the RA Non-Pro Futurity. The pair also took out the win in the Continental Affiliate Non-Pro Futurity & won the Continental Affiliate & RA Novice Horse Non-Pro events.

The Reserve Champions of both the Continental Affiliate & RA Rookie Level 2 were Rummin Dixie* & Cherise McLaughlin.

With a score of 144.5, Micro Chip & Karen Lowe were the Champions of the Continental Affiliate & RA Limited Open events.

Carolyn Gorrill rode Down N Boogie to championships in the Continental Affiliate & RA Rookie Pro events.

Wade Powell took home the championship buckle for his wins on Onya Wotshername in the Continental Affiliate & RA Youth 14 to 18 Years events.

Shaun Saunders rode Whizz Peppy a score of 148 & the Reserve Championships in both the Continental Affiliate & RA Open events.

Gavin Mutzelberg & Smart Choco Lena competing in the Continental Affiliate & RA Intermediate Non-Pro events.

DCS Kentucky Rein & Laura Wood were the Reserve Champions of the Continental Affiliate Rookie Level 1.

Whimpys Little Charlie & Keiran Moses were the Reserve Champions of the Continental Affiliate Novice Horse Non-Pro & third in the RA Novice Horse Non-Pro.

The Champions of the RA Intermediate Non-Pro Futurity & Reserve Champions of the RA Non-Pro Futurity were De Termination & Scott Burnett.

RBH Whiz Kid & Thea Griffin were the Champions of both the Continental Affiliate & RA Rookie Level 2 events.

The Reserve Champions of the RA Rookies Pro event were Whizzle La Belle & Justin Colquhoun.

The Reserve Champions of the RA Intermediate Non-Pro Futurity were Keep On Huggin & Rod Osborne.

Little Gambel Lena & Keiran Moses were the Champions of both the Continental Affiliate & RA Limited Non-Pro events with a score of 142.5.

Eskdale West Dry Melody (Whizzle A Melody* x Eskdale West Dry Chic) & Martin Larcombe were the Reserve Champions of the hotly contested RA Open Futurity with a great score of 150.

Reserve Champions of the Continental Affiliate & RA Non-Pro were Lil Puss & Cameron Halliwell with a score of 147.

The champions of the RA Intermediate Open Futurity were Commanders Gold N Oak (Little Smarty Oak x Our Miss Free) & John Wicks.
