2012 ANSA National Titles

Emily Wonka rode Nicole Donnelly's MARNICVALE SPORTS ILLUSTRATED as her mount to win the Gelding 3 years & under, under saddle class.

Vicki Camilleri rode her mare HIGHPLAINS JASMIN to place 3rd in the Mare 4 years & over under Saddle class picking up several other placings during the weekend in the Dressage, Hack & Performance classes

Prisilla Cuell from Narrabri rode her gelding WINDASON PARK CALYPSO competing in many classes during the weekend including Dressage & Hack classes, making it an enjoyable stay in Toowoomba for her.

Ros Lipp rode ABSOLUT ROYALTY to place 3rd in the ANSA Best Presented Horse & Rider class.

Winner of the Open Sporting Horse was MISTAKE RANCHER ridden by Alison Petty who won the Flag Race & Bending sections of the competition.

The Best Two Year Old & under Exhibit was awarded to TOPSHELF ENIGMA exhibited by Russell & Amanda Sweeper from the Lockyer Valley.

Supreme Ridden ANSA Horse was awarded to the Best Working Horse MELUCA STUD JACKSON ridden by Carly Domrow pictured with judges Jackie Long & Jo Maunder.

The Best Polocrosse Horse came down to a ride off between mother & daughter, Alison Petty riding MISTAKE RANCHER who won the Best Working Polocrosse Horse and her daughter Courtney Petty rode ROSEBAR HAYLEY to win the Youth Working Polocrosse Horse with Courtney claiming the Best Polocrosse Horse Award in the final.

Madison Bryans had a great weekend of showing with her Australian Stock Horse COLLINSPARK STEVE taking out the High Point Youth of the Show Award. Madison won the Youth Handler, Best Presented Horse & Rider under 18 years, Hack Ridden by a Junior, Working Versatile ANSA Horse ridden by a youth plus numerous other placings during the weekend.

Leesa Bickers another Central North Coast of Qld competitor rode her Stallion SMART ONE was the winner of the Western Horsemanship Senior class and also placed 2nd in the Stallion 4 yrs & over under Saddle class.

Will Alexander from Narrabri rode MOONARAN LASS to win the Youth Hunter Under Saddle class, placing 2nd in Hack ridden by a Junior under 18 yrs and 2nd in Best Presented Horse & Rider under 18 yrs.

Fiona Rolls-Campbell had a great show with her Australian Stock Horse WHYTOP JAMES BOND taking out the Reserve Champion Led Gelding, Champion ANSA Horse under Saddle & the Reserve Champion Hack.

Petrea Bates from Maryborough rode her mare DAISY ROCK to win the Pleasure Hack class also placing 2nd in the Showmanship at Halter English class as well as placing in numerous classes during the weekend.

Another Qld Central Coast competitor Kerrie Sampson had a pleasant weekend of showing with her gelding YANJARRA PARK LIMITED EDITION placing 2nd in the Amateur Hunter under Saddle, 3rd in Open Hack ne 15hh and picking up ribbons in other classes.

Melissa Waller had a super busy weekend with being the major sponsor of the ANSA National Titles as well as showing herself. Pictured here with her Champion Led Gelding HL THEODORE who was also successful in taking out 2nd place in the Four Year Old Futurity at the Feature Night. Melissa riding the gelding also took home many ribbons from Hack Classes on the 2nd day.

Alan Willett's Australian Stock Horse Stallion ROCKSBURY EXPLORER once again scooped the pool with taking out the High Point Horse of the Show after winning the Champion Led Stallion, Supreme Led Exhibit, Champion Performance Horse, Reserve Champion Horse Under Saddle, winner of the Four Year old Futurity to name a few of his major wins. A trip from Moree was definately worth it for the Young Family & their beautiful Riding Ponies, Sarah holding the Champion Led Mare BORDERSHOW CENTREFOLD and Cathy holding the Reserve Champion Mare LADY IN RED. CENTREFOLD also took out the Champion Led Versatile Performance Horse and Champion Hack.

The very successful Thoroughbred Stallion ROHAVEN REGAL BANQUET exhibited by Lynda Powell & the Anderson Family was awarded Reserve Champion Led Stallion.

Amie Want formerly Harrison, had a good weekend of showing with her horses in the Dressage, Led & Hack classes. Pictured here working out with CC REFLECTIONS to win Best Novice Hack. Amie took home to Lawrence in NSW plenty of ribbons for her weekend's showing.

Kade Handford, a Darling Downs competitor and his gelding JIMIDEAN working out to win the Led Gelding 4 years & over class which was one of the largest led classes at the Titles.

Kath Galloway and PURE COUGAR going through their paces to place 2nd in the Led Mare 4 years & over class. Kath & her mare enjoyed a weekend of competition competing in the dressage, led & hack classes with numerous placings.

Judge Jackie Long was anxious to show off her new handbag to fellow judge Jo Maunder. Jackie had just been given this rather special "green bag" which has a horse and cart carved into the front of it. The girls appeared to be having an enjoyable stay in Queensland fitting in a special treat with a little shopping in the city centre which they both enjoyed.

Sarah Young with her winner of the Two Year Old Futurity MC ARTHURPARC MAGICIAN with whom she had success on the 2nd day winning the Led Colt 2 years & under class and the "P" Registered 2 years & under gelding, colt or filly class.

Warren Long's entry LONGDOO TRINITY was the winner of the Three Year Old Futurity. A Feature event was held on the Saturday evening when the Two Year Old, Three Year Old & Four Year Old Futurities were held after the Dressage & Sporting events were completed.

Peter Ewing rode his AVOCA TROPEN GLITZEN to win the Elementary 3C & Elementary 3A Dressage competitions. The combination went on to enjoy success taking out numerous placings during the weekend in the hack sections of the National Titles.

Shari Baldwin from Maleny rode a new mount for the Novice 2C Dressage competition ASHLEIGH ALARIC being their first dressage experience & receiving a blue ribbon, Shari was delighted.

Megan Grams from the Sunshine Coast rode CARRINGTON LODGE WELT'S BELLE for a place in the Preliminary 1C Dressage competition.

Kylee Chandler riding DI CAVALLI DECANDANCE had a super weekend of showing after time away from the ring last year convalescing from knee surgery. They placed 1st in the Preliminary 1B & the Preliminary 1C Dressage competitions and on the second day of the event, took out the Reserve Champion Performance Horse.

Zac Tomlinson from Wee Waa had success riding MOONARAN LASS as the winner of the Preliminary 1A Dressage and placing 3rd in the Preliminary 1B.

EUSTON SOLITAIRE was ridden by Toowoomba competitior Ros Lipp placing 2nd in the Preliminary 1A Dressage competition. Ros & the Riding Pony then placed 4th in the 1B Dressage competition.
