Mr & Mrs J Kirk's, 'Dony's Rihana' (Cascob Jack Flash/Dony's Painted Lady won the class for Section D Yearling Filly/Gelding. Rather than constant repetition it should be said now that Welsh Pony classes were outstanding and well worth the reputation they have gained in Australia.

Marie Apicella's, 'Thorndon Park Fair Lady (Thorndon Park Crown/Thorndon Park Lady) was third in the class for Yearling Section D Filly/Gelding.

DM Miller an RM Davies', 'Heniarth Yum Yum' (Gwynrhosyn Frenin/Sunwillow Yasmin) won the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Broodmare.

Mr RL Rees' colourful and homebred, 'Horeb Teyha' (Horeb Tomboy/Knockrua Bronwen) won the class for Two Year Old D Filly.

Mr A Bowen's 'Pennal Riverdance' (Thorneyside The Gladiator/Abergavenny Welsh Dancer) is pictured on the move during the judging of the Section d Two year Old Filly/Gelding.

Byron Preston's home bred, 'Aberlogin Welsh Model' (Drogeda Stormy Tempest/Aberlogin Rosina) is pictured during the judging of the class for Welsh Section D Two Year Old Filly/Gelding.

This filly Section A foal looks born to the job. The home bred, 'Cromagtir Dagan' ( Flydon Hapus Ap Henri/Comagtir Devi) was declared Champion Section A Foal.

Moira Leggat's beautiful, 'Waxwing Dick Turpin' (Heniarth Yarra Glen/Waxwing Penny Dainty) took third place in the very strong class for Section A Stallions Four to Seven Years.

The Brimfield and Bath nomination, 'Runshaw Llewelyn' (Churtoncroft Aires/Chetwynd Lily) was fifth in the class for Section A Stallions Four to Seven Years.

Mr HJ Lowe's ,'Voermanhof Nicolas' (Springbourne Claret/revel Sequila) is pictured working out in the class for Section A Stallion Four to Seven Years.

Miss C Paine's 'Pwllgwyn ' (Janton Philanderer/Bryndalou Annie) took fourth place in the class for Three Year Old Section D Colts.

The Section D judging is all excitement with "the show" all important, with the large and knowledgeable crowd really showing their support. Mrs C Prater's , 'Rhencullen Martino' (R. Boots/Menai Golden Star) puts on a good show during the judging of the Three Year Old Colt class.

Robert Manchip's home bred, ''FFald JK (Donys President/FFald Mercedes) took second place in the class for Three Year Old Section D Colts.

H Leeuwenhaag's 'Shamrock Lake Lord Caernafon' (Friars Osbeck/Shamrock Lake Sweetlife Cordelia) is pictured during the judging of the Section A Stallions Four to Seven Years.

There are 557 Welsh Mountain Ponies entered at the Royal Welsh Show this year and Mr C Johnson's beautiful, 'Sunwillow Kinglake' (Pendock Legend/Sunwillow Dido) is one of them. He is pictured stepping out during the judging of the class for Section A Stallion Over Seven years.

Mrs D Smailes''Ffynnonbach Llewellyn' (Norest Rhys/Twymyn Megan) tookk third place in the strong class for Section A Stallions over Seven Years.

Andrew Thomas' 'Caeredwen Caniad' (Croniarth Texas Storm/Tyntula Catrin) won the class for Two Year Old Section C Filly/Gelding.

M D Cobley's 'Caebryn Endeavour' (Llanweneth Flash Jack/Parvadean Denise) won the class for Section C Colt Three Years Old.

Mr V Moore's 'TYCWM Master Joe' (Moorcroft The Master/Tycwm Abbeyleigh) won the Section C Yearling Colt class.

The Fuller and Charman Families', 'Moorcroft Master Tom' (Moorcroft The Master/Synod Sweet Dreams) won the Two year Old Colt class and went on to be declared Champion Section C Youngstock.

Mr Lee Smith's , 'Bryne Glur Molly' (Geler Sparc/Brynithon Mistegee) took second place in the class for Section D Three Year Old Filly/Gelding.

C Mitchell and G P Granger's, 'Dycott Mabon' (Crugybar Mabon/Mitcheltroy Starlight) won the class for yearling Section D Colt and went on to claim the Section D Youngstock Reserve Championship.

Dorian Lloyd did the honours with MD and C Evans' beautiful, 'Bryncadno Heledd' (Gwynfaes Culhwch/Lodor Ffeind) to win the class for Three Year Old Section D Filly and go on to claim the Section D Youngstock Championship.

TMO Jenkins', 'Kareltje' (Mistral/Lady Surprise) won the class for Driven Hackney Pony.

Mr W Gill's, impressive and lovely moving, 'Madges Last Wonder' won the class for Hackney Horse and was declared Champion Hackney after a drive off with the Pony in the Main Arena.
