2014 Australian National Arabian Championships

Sunday of the 2014 Australian Arabian Championships was devoted to the Youth and Amateur Owners, with classes well supported. Alexander Trotter presented her Anastazi MI to be declared Champion Arabian Colt or Stallion 4 years and over and shown by an Amateur owner.

Eminem Arabians', Eminem Apollonique was a Top Ten finalist in the Junior Arabian Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an Amateur Owner.

Krishlah Arabians', Gab'Reala was declared Champion in the Junior Arabian Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an Amateur Owner.

Mark Dodson presented his Nina Al Naadirah to make the Top Ten in the Junior Arabian Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an Amateur Owner.

Alison Georgas looks pleased to be exhibiting her Karla MI to be declared Reserve Champion Junior Arabian Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an Amateur Owner.

Krishlah Arabians Georgio KA took out the Championship in the Junior Arabian Gelding Three Years and under shown by an Amateur Owner 18 years and over.

Lesley Precious presented her Nahlan to finish in the Top Ten of the Junior Arabian Gelding 3 years and under Shown by an Amateur Owner.

Rockridge Arabians', Manhatten FF was declared Reserve Champion in the Junior Arabian Gelding Three Years and under shown by an Amateur Owner 18 years and over.

Zoe Bilson with the well performed show pony Falconhurst Festivity were Top ten finalists in the Handler 7-11 years.

Chloe Strath and Wynara Just a Doll work out in the Youth handler 7-11 years. The Youth competitors had a full day of events ranging from led events through to the Barrel Race.

Young Jessica Dertell seemed to really enjoy her time at the show with her pony Sienna Journeey. Jessica and her well performed pony were declared Reserve Champion in the Junior Handler 7-11 years.

Young Kimberley Glover presents her Akora Foreever Safir to the judge in the Youth Handler 7-11 years.

Matthew Parker and Kaidon Park Raskelle wait their turn in the Handler 7-11 years.

Charlotte Richardson and Palm Park Royal Acclain have had a great show winning many Championships including Youth Handler 7-11 Years and Youth Bridle Park Hack 7-11 years.

Sarah Olsen with her Ethereal Park Solar Flare was declared Champion in the Youth handler 12-14 years.

Brittney Hardwick and Victoria Moon MH work out in the Youth handler 12-14 years.

Tameka Jarrett with Raven Lodge Charmed took out the Reserve Championship in the Youth handler 12-14 years.

Emma Collins was pleased to take out the Reserve Championship with her Illarak Chevrolet in the Senior Arabian Derivative 4 years and over over 15hh NE 16hh shown by an Amateur.

Kath Roberts presented her, Illarak Estelle to be declared Champion in the Senior Arabian Derivative 4 years and over, over 16hh shown by an Amateur over 18 years.

Nicole Kullen presented her Yearling, Nikshar Valentinah Rose to make the Top Ten in he strong class for Junior Arabian Derivative Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an amateur owner 18 years and over.

Daitan Equestrian's, Chelleason Crown Dior was declared Reserve Champion in the Junior Arabian Derivative Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an amateur owner 18 years and over.

Jodi Hellmuth from Victoria exhibited her Obi-Wun in the Junior Arabian Derivative Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an amateur owner 18 years and over.

South Serenity Arabians', Zintahn Fantasy on Ice made the Top Ten in the Junior Arabian Derivative Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an amateur owner 18 years and over.

Jessica Dean exhibited her Diamond Road Evening Light to finish in the Top Ten in the Junior Arabian Derivative Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an amateur owner 18 years and over.

Alana Simpson and Rubee Rose worked out in the Junior Arabian Derivative Filly or Colt 3 years and under shown by an amateur owner 18 years and over, as the storm clouds gathered. After an enormous storm yesterday the organising committee opted to move the outside ring inside after this event.

Kayla O'Brien rode Oakridge Havannah to place in the Top Ten in the Youth Bridle Path Hack ridden by a Youth 7-11 years.

Kody Dertell has had a busy few days helping out with the 26 horses Future Farms brought to the Championships. Today Kody rode Kaidon Park Raskelle to make the Top Ten in the Youth bridle Park hack Ridden by a Youth 7 - 11 years.

Joshua Moore presented his own and Kati Vainionpaa's, Furst Finesse to be declared Champion in the Junior Arabian Derivative Gelding 3 years and under shown by an amateur owner 18 years and over.

Andrea Huntington rode her Dukeri Kintyre to take out the Reserve Championship in the Arabian Derivative Mare or Gelding NE 14.2hh ridden by and amateur owner over 18 years.

Corinne Snape rode her Rezeema Maddison to be declared Champion in the Arabian Derivative Mare or Gelding NE 14.2hh ridden by and amateur owner over 18 years.
