Tyler Harris rode her own, Ashley Harris and R Monaghan's, 'Farleigh Esmeralda' to second place in the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh.

Ashley Harris rode her own, Typer Harris and C Glenny's, 'Astbury Aristocat' to third place in the class for Open Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh and went on to win the class for Lady's Show Hunter Galloway.

Riley Kent rode Nina Stone and Sally George's, 'National Velvet' to win the classes for Novice and Open Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh. On the way he claimed the Novice Show Hunter Galloway Reserve Championship and went on to take out the 2018 Royal Queensland Show Hunter Galloway Reserve Championship.

Daniel Retschlag rode his former Queensland Champion Hack, 'Foorsteps In The Dust' to win the class for Open Hack 16.16.2hh on a hectic morning and early start for the hacking competitors with classes starting at 7am.

Joh Bailey and Sandra McCann's beautiful show horse, 'Mikimoto', as always ridden by Michael Christie took second place today in the Highbury Cup For Horses Showing Thoroughbred Qualities. Mikimoto did not start in his Open class, presented for and won the Gent's Hack class and came in and claimed the 2018 Royal Queensland Hack Championship. His tenth Championship from eleven Royal Show appearances.
