Prolific exhibitor and prolific winner, Elsa Avery from Victoria drove the Avery Famly's, 'Crosswynds Our Brenin' to win the class for Non Hackney Horse Show Vehicle Turnout on day one of the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

What a day for Australian Stock Horse exhibitor, Jenny Weule. She is pictured with her very well performed, 'Nethaway Touch of Class' (Glen Lee Rivoli Teak/Nethaway Melledy) that was declared Reserve Champion ASH Mare/Filly.

Sophie Hatch from Middle Brook in NSW rode her, 'Rosthwaite Belvedere' to win the the Junior Table C, the first jumping class of the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Wendy Ragg drove the Ragg and Proctor Show Team's nomination, 'Glenwood Limited Edition' to take second place in the class for Hackney Pony Show Vehicle Turnout.

Chris Lawrie is famous for showing show horses, but he is rapidly gaining a reputation as a Hackney Pony trainer and driver. Chris drove his own and Anne Lindh's nomination, the beautiful, 'Hudson Wildcard' to win the class for Hackney Pony Show Vehicle Turnout.

Janet Brown is pictured with the Cranellie Pony Stud's, 'Cranellie Yelena' (C.Elgyn/C.Yana) that won the class for Three Year Old Shetland Pony Filly 8.2-10.2hh.

'Edewood Katherine' (Glen Darra Marshwood/Duidgee Kayla) took second place in the class for Shetland Pony Filly two Years and Under 8.2-10.2hh.

Jacinta Campbell did the honours with J Cambourn and the Monarra Park Pony Stud's, 'Monarra Park Harley Quinn' (Gonong Vintage/Fairlight Acres Lindy) to win the class for Shetland Pony Filly Two Years and Under and they went on to take out the Shetland Pony Junior Filly Championship.

There was a large police presence at the Sydney Royal Easter Show today and Senior Constable Esther Vass took out the Don Rowland Perpetual Trophy donated by the Picken Family for Best Turned Out Mounted Trooper, Horse and Gear with some help from 'Royal'.

L-R Leading Senior Constable Sarah Maxwell riding, 'Joker' took second place and Senior Constable Caroline Humphries aboard, 'Anzac' was third in the Don Rowland Best Turned Out Mounted Trooper class.

Well known and successful Australian Stock Horse exhibitor, Adam Wellington is pictured with his lovely, 'Glen Lee Rivoli Try Tech' (G.L.R. Ray Tech/G.L.R. Keola) that won the class for Australian Stock Horse Mare Four Years and Over N.E. 15hh.

Brendon Shearer is pictured with his own and Megan Shearer's Champion Australian Stock Horse Stallion/Colt, 'Jats Bar Casanova' (Jat Bar Adios Acres/Yarrawa Alias).

Amanda Proctor drove the Ragg and Proctor Show Team's, 'Glenwood Simply Divine' to take out the Two or Four wheeled Hard Tyred Vehicle Turnout Championship.

Max Pearce drove his own and Leah Montefiore's nomination, 'Beauwood Rocky Road' to claim the Two or Four Wheeled Hard Tyred Vehicle Turnout Reserve Championship.

Glen Frazer did the honours with the Playmore Stock Horses' nomination, 'Playmore Roulette' (Glenesk Vegas/ Crossart Evita) to win the Gelding Over 15hh class and claim the Best Led Australian Stock Horse Gelding award.

Hannah Plotecki won the class for Australian Stock Horse Gelding Under 15hh class with her, 'Glen Lee Rivoli Risque' (G.L.R. Mytech/Vet School Rivoli Wendy).

Tess McInerney makes a super jump aboard her, 'Alpha Centauri' on their way to winning the Young Rider Table C on day one of the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

William Dight from Yetman in NSW rode his, 'Thea' to fifth place in the Young Rider Table C.

Jess Tripp rode, 'Diamond B Verona' by Vivant to take third place in the Young Rider Table C.

Katie De Jong rode, 'Mains Lochlan' to take fifth place in the Australian Stock Horse ASHLA Senior class for Lady Riders.

Georgia Gamble rode her, 'Playmore Clementine' to take second place in the Australian Stock Horse and Lady Rider (ASHLA) Senior class today.

Carlie Fangmeier rode her, 'Glen Lee Rivoli Imprint' to take third place and the Best Novice ASHLA award.

Experience is everything and Teena Bridge has plenty of it as well as success. As rider, trainer, coach and judge, Teena today rode Claire Mourant's, 'Silverthorn Stun Gun' to claim the 2019 Sydney Royal Ester Show Senior ASHLA class.
