Peter and Anne Jelliff's well performed stallion, 'Boonderoo Blackwood' (Kirkby's Stud Remedy / Glen Lee Rivoli Joelean) had nothing less than a sensational show. He won the Led Stallion/Colt class and won the ASH Stockmans Turnout, the ASHLA, ASH Hack class and the Station Horse class. Not surprisingly he was declared Champion ASH Under Saddle. Anne did most of the riding with Peter doing the honours in the Turnout class.
David Wilson with the Glen Lee ASH Stud's beautiful Australian Stock Horse Filly, 'Glen Lee Enigma' (Glen Lee Rivoli Ray Tech / Omeo Riddle). She won the Led Filly class and went on to be declared Champion Led Australian Stock Horse Exhibit. Although still green under saddle 'Enigma' demonstrated lovely movement with loads of potential.
Andrew Cameron with Olivaylle Pty Ltd's eye-catching and well performed stallion, 'Yallatup Regal Remedy' (Kirkby's Stud Remedy / Yallatup KC). They took second place in the Station Horse class.
Prue Bergmeier is pictured in action in the Australian Stock Horse Station Horse class with her 'Geejay Showgun' (Baree Gunman / Nuniong Peppa). Earlier in the afternoon Prue claimed the Best Novice ASHLA Rider award.
David Wilson was no surprise winner of the ASH Working Horse class with the Glen Lee Stud's, 'Glen Lee Miessence' (Barona Hornet / GLR Dee Cie Lee). David went on to claim the Reserve ASH Under Saddle award with the five year old mare.

First to go in the new Royal Adelaide Show Cross Country Challenge, Luke Jones and 'Captain Fantastic' kept all 13 challengers at bay to win. Popular overseas the 'Short Course' eventing included a showjumping and short cross country course on the big Adelaide arena. Although there was no dressage phase, this quick form of eventing has great potential. Luke will be all for it , as he took second place as well riding 'Soul'
Wendy Schaeffer and her experienced Four Star eventer, 'Koyuna Sun Magic'. They took third place in the Royal Adelaide Cross Country Challenge. With three horses entered in the Showjumping at Adelaide this year, we are guaranteed to see more of Wendy throughout the show.
Just back from Hong Kong with a Silver medal around her neck, Megan Jones was in the Eventing Challenge action with her Rustic Amber Thoroughbred gelding, 'Kirby Park Allofasudden'. The talented jumper was just out of the placings.

Abby Clark took third place in the Led Australian Stock Horse Gelding class with her 'Tallarenha Pele' (Comara Whiplash / Donrica Chablis). However, the typey gelding was a little above himself in the ridden classes.
Brooke Jenkinson with her 'Pine Plains Lido' ( Wemen Kalyanka / Sally). They took fourth place in the Led Australian Stock Horse Gelding class and performed well in the ridden Stock Horse classes.
Amy Wilson, daughter of well known ASH competitor, Michael Wilson rode David Ross' 'Falconhurst Rivoli Repartee' (Glen Lee Rivoli Ray Tech / Vet School Rivoli Wendy) to take out the award for the Highest Overall Placed Junior in the ASHLA class.
