It was smiles all round at this brand new Gypsy Cob feature show. Another upcoming colt, Merseysyde Mayhem and his handler Tyson Layton, took everything in their stride and were a great example of the breed’s temperament

Owner Jackie Allen entrusted handler Madeline Deaner with Watermark Amazing Grace for Day 1 and it certainly paid off! The team came home with very well deserved Supreme Pure Gypsy Cob, against a very strong field.

The versatility course presented some challenges, but Tricolby Star Gazer and Brooke Galea were great examples of the willingness and temperament of the Gypsy Cob.

It’s fantastic to see the next generation out and starting their show career! Upcoming stud colt Glyndower Brea D’Artagnan and proud owner Lee Scown, were awarded first place in the Colt / Stallion Jackpot, competing in a strong field.

The hours of scrubbing and blow drying certainly paid off for owner Sam Patton and Smiths Aladdins Tear, being award the Grand Champion Best Presented of the Show. Here they are sharing the moment with breeder Smith’s Gypsy Cobs

Sue Mouat and the lovely Glyndower Brea Wingsong had an extremely successful show, taking out both the Supreme Senior Part Bred Gypsy Cob and the Grand Supreme Part Bred of the Show.

This little filly mixed it with the best of the best, being award the Grand Supreme Pure Bred of the Show. With her handler Tim Patton, Milford Pines Chrystal Symphony certainly did the Vella and Patton families proud.

There is nothing that Watermark the Puppet Master cannot do. Under the caring eye of his handler Ronette Williams, Puppet did the Allen family proud all weekend with wins in the led, ridden, long reining and versatility classes.

Eliza Moore and part bred Keeralee Adira brought home a swag of ribbons across the weekend and had great results in the ridden classes

We rarely get to see him out and about but the very handsome purebred stallion Castellan, was a pleasure to watch

Flying the flag for the Drum Horse, Brooke Verwey-Mitchell and Rumneyhill Shokora had a cracking weekend, with the Supreme Rider award as one of the highlights.
