ASPR Pony Dressage Challenge

Nirrelle Somerville rode her Aust. Riding Pony, Viewbank Barista by Wedgnock Coffee Pot to sixth place in the Official Novice 2A .

Arkie Daddo rode her imported German Riding Pony, FS Golden Storm by FS Golden Moonlight to fourth place in the Meduim 4B.

Eliza Mylon rode her Australian Stock Horse, Tilson Park Micheal by Sindarin Saprin to third place in the Official Novice 2B. It was good to see so many pony breeds all competing together.

Mark Phillips rode Springvalley Vagabond by Willowcroft Vagabond to second place in the Medium 4B.

Emma Copley rode her well performed Viewbank Boyd by Silkwood Puss n Boots to win the Medium 4B.

Stefanie Hall rode her Warmblood x Welsh Pony, Glitter Girl by DQ Killarney to equal second place in the Associate Novice 2A. The weather on Saturday, the first day of the event was very good for Werribee in the middle of winter, unfortunately the same could not be said for Sunday.

After a very successful Inter-school competition Emily Van Sonsbeek followed it up by taking out the Official Novice Championship, riding her Australian Pony, Mareena Night Sky by Marena Sky Chief.

Tess Richardson rode her Riding Pony/Welsh, Bellbrae Xtreme by Jackets Bluebird (Imp) to fifth place in the Official Novice 2B.

Tonaya Barton rode her Welsh C Acheron Priceless by Rosanree Capricorn to second place in the Official Novice 2D.

Brianna Basile rode Catherine Basile's, Riding Pony, Rosebrook Rhythm N Blues by Rosebrook Trueblue to win the Official Novice 2B.

Rebecca Farran rode Cindy Cornish's, Arab pony, Barnoolut Remini by Ahmaja to win the Official Novice 2D.

Sally Bernett and her Australian Pony, Kooyong Romeo by Kooyong Liberace won the Associate Novice 2A and was placed second in the 2C to take out the Associate Novice Championship.

Tiffany Denysenko rode her Welsh B Radnor Adam II, by the famous Sir Percy of Paxhall (Imp) to fourth place Official Novice 2D.

Jodie Young rode her Part Welsh pony, Thorwood Lemongrove by Silkwood Puss N Boots to fifth place in the Official Novice 2D.

Georgia Welch rode her Riding Pony, Baxters Grand Image by Whiterose Valentino in the Official Novice. Later in the day this combination were placed second in the 5 year old class.

Ella Curry-Vonarx rode her Quarter Horse/Pony, Sharonvale Lucky Sox by KS Jump N Jack Flash in the Official Novice. Competitors who are EA registered can ride in the Official classes and a full range of Associate Classes are provided at this event for non-EA registered ponies.

Chantelle Matthews rode Tina Barker's imported German Riding pony Stallion, Hilkens Nougat Cream (imp) by Neckar in the Official Novice.

Natasha Moody added some colour to the event with her Wizard of Oz Novice Freestyle. Natasha rode her Welsh A, Wyann Sonic by Wyann Robin Hood to take fifth place.

Rumor Aldous and Boxthorn Grant a Morgan x Standardbred by Aura Dell Edward won the Novice Freestyle.

Sophie Whitworth riding her Australian Pony, Koora Lyn Sunrise by Barolin Angwyn won the Elementary Freestyle and the Medium 4C.

Leanne Atwell rode her Champagne Piper of unknown breeding in the Official Novice 2D.

Katie Ryman and Smack The Pony a Conemarra x Welsh by Colmur Casey, won the the Prix St Georges

The Young Pony Dressage classes are a recent addition to the ASPR weekend, with both the 4 and 5 years displaying a good standard. The winner of the Four year Material Class, (judged over a dressage style test and in hand) was the Welsh Cob, Nawarrah Park Pop Rock by Synod Aristocrat ridden and owned by Andrea Taylor.

Isabella Godfrey and her Riding Pony, Wingana Chatterbox by Owendale Percival were beautifully presented and are pictured during their performance in the Official Novice 2B.

Filipa Marshall riding her Australian Pony, Filou Lane Limited Edition by Fairlight Acres Kidman took third place in the 4 yr old Material Class.

Norm Clark riding his Welsh C Stallion, Bookra Sovereigh Edition by Winggana Welsh Flyer won the Associate 2C test.

Natalie Boucher rode her Welsh X, Heatherton Park Twilght by Bookra the Coalman to take second place in the Four Year old Material class.

Allison O'Neill rode Nicole Parsons beautiful Ashcroft Hidden Secret by Fairley Rembrant in the 5 year old Young Pony Dressage.

Jason James rode Emma Copley's, Friesiam/WB by Felipe Mauri in win the Five Year old Young Pony Dressage.

Michelle Bryant rode her Riding Pony, Karlana Front Page by Stanton Park Paparazzi in the Official Novice.

Amelia Sadler rode N. Sadler's, Oaklands Park Springtide by Silkwood Babbling Brook to equal second place in the Associate Novice 2A.

Dana Barnsley rode her Quarter Horse x Riding Pony, Shall We Champagne in the Official Novice. The Novice competition was well represented and demonstrated a good standard.

Jessica Grant rode her Welsh Pony x Arabian, Matakatia Tiki Tour (Imp) by Ashberry Park Louba in the Official Novice.
