Australian Carriage Driving National Championships

Carol Blakeley of Yass driving Lac La Biche Son of a Rose in the Viceroy/Show Vehicle turnout over 10.2hh.

Kimberlee McGregor of Freemans Reach placed third in the two wheeled, hard tyred turnout for horses driving her family owned and bred Judstan Lulu.

Champion Turnout ne 10.2hh was won by Sensei Little Feather, owned and driven by Andrea Caspar of Terrey Hills. Andrea is pictured with judge Nola Robertson, Bega.

Reserve champion Turnout ne 10.2hh was West End Geronimo, owned and driven by Gay Bostock, Congewai via Cessnock. She is pictured with judge, Nola Robertson, Bega.

Lac La Biche Flamboyant, owned by Carol Blakeley, Yass and driven by Amanda Blakeley, Muswellbrook, placed third in the two wheeled hard tyred turnout for ponies.

The Heights Quintessa, owned and driven by Barbara Smith, Mt White, won the two wheeled hard tyred turnout for ponies. Barbara is pictured with judges Peter and Sue White "Annangrove", Yass.

Dakota, owned and driven by Wayne Walker, Kurmond, added some colour at the Australian Carriage Driving National Championships.

Winner of the four wheeled hard tyred turnout was Elle, owned by Yvonne wood, Bowral and driven by Amanda Painting Ragg of Mittagong.

Cherry Farm Golden Maid, owned and driven by Rick Jones of Goulburn, won the Trades/Delivery Turnout class, he was accompanied by Bob Richardson, also of Goulburn.

Woodlands Park Peter, owned and driven by David Cranwell, Oakville, was awarded the Concours d'Elegance, David was accompanied by his son Mathew.

Champion non Hackney Pony ne 10.2hh was Shambala Park Midas, owned and driven by Kathy Turner, Cobbitty. She is pictured with judge Nola Robertson, Bega.

Mayflowers Beau Supreme (by Makari Search For Gold out of Dunolly Mayflower) was judged the champion Turnout over 10.2hh. Owned by Ashley and Robyn Allison Woods, Murrurundi. Also pictured are judges Peter and Sue White, "Annangrove", Yass and groom Clinton Woods, Sydney.

Reserve champion Turnout over 10.2hh was Canberra Park Tahlia (by Rhyl Musketter out of Canberra park Bernadette), owned by the Keir Family, Dickson, ACT. She was driven by Melissa Jones, Canberra, her groom was Brook Keir, Dickson and the judges were Peter and Sue White, "Annangrove", Yass.

First place in the Hackney horse over 14hh and ne 15hh was Dunolly Victory, owned by the Bensley family, Goulburn and driven by Bryson Bensley.

Chessons Prince William (by Hurstwood Solarity out of Dunolly Delight) lived up to his supreme champion Hackney harness horse or pony title earned at the 2008 Sydney Royal Show. Owned by the Keir family, Dickson, ACT the bay stallion was driven by Shane Keir to win Champion Hackney Horse over 15hh.

Ashwood Captivation, owned by Darren and Joanne Dorman of Austral, placed second in the Hackney Horse over 15hh.

Second in the novice non Hackney Horse over 14hh was the imported Friesian mare Martha v.d. Sanbuorran, driven by Martyn Minns of Pheasants Nest.

Third place in the novice non hackney horse over 14hh, owned by the McGregor family, Freemans Reach and driven by Christine McGregor.

Champion non Hackney pony over 10.2hh was Westbury Shadowman, owned by the Dorman family, Austral and driven by Darren Dorman.

Champion Hackney Pony was Woodhurst Actress (by Hurstwood Noble Boy out of Rhyl Impress), owned by the Dorman family, Austral and driven by Joanne Dorman.

Champion non Hackney Horse was Stillbrook Tabitha (by Calypso Candyman out of Pen-Ant Melody). She is owned by the Bensley family, Goulburn and was driven by Bryson Bensley.

Reserve Champion non Hackney horsewas Canberra Park Silohette (by Frisco Drago (imp) out of Suttons American Dawn). She is owned by the Keir family, Dickson, Act and was driven by Shane Keir.

Supreme Champion horse or pony in harness was Westbury Shadowman ( a liver chestnut gelding by Fairway Skyline out of Westbury Shady Lady). Owned by the Dorman family, Austral, Shadowman was driven by Darren Dorman. He is pictured with judges Nola Robertson, Bega, Sue and Peter White "Annangrove", Yass. Westbury Shadowman was judge the supreme champion non Hackney harness horse or pony at the 2008 Sydney Royal Show.

First place in the multiple class, taken out by Carol Blakeley of Yass driving the grey, Lac La Biche Flamboyant and the chestnut, Lac La Biche Son of a Rose.

West End Geronimo owned and driven by Gay Bostock of Congewai via Cessnock took first place in the Vicroy turnout for ponies ne 10.2hh.
