Tenth place in the Commonwealth Bank Australian Junior Championship Gemma Alexandra riding Feeling Wise, jumping clear in the first round then a stop and a time fault in the second round finished their day.

Anna riding with two fingers strapped together after having the end of one finger kicked off by a stallion two weeks ago, did manage a double clear, but the onward bound horse had eight faults in the fast time of 49.37 seconds in the jump off.

Anthony Thomas from South Australia had three of the 13 horses entered in the Australian Showjumping Championships. He managed two equal third placings with Icon and Sandstones finishing on four faults over two rounds, Charlie Girl looked "green" at this level and had 12 faults in each round.

As the jumps got higher the imported mare Noblewood Park Blatini just improved and jumped better. Ridden by David Dobson, they also posted a double clear jumping but one time fault had them in second place. David then disputed the time, as the electronic time equipment, that had been causing trouble all weekend, failed and the time was taken by hand held watches from the judges box with no stewards on the start and finish lines. Vicki was awarded the National Title, it was a disappointing finish to an already contentious Championship.
