Orchard Hill is now directed towards a jumping career and to that end jumped very well to take third place in the Bega Car and Dog Wash Mini Prix.

Grant Hughes jumped a double clear in the Grand Hotel Bega Cup riding 'Blackall Park Atlantis' and it looked as if his run of ten second placings in the class was at last going to end. But alas, Grant was pipped by the very last horse to go and had to again settle for second place.

The combination won the Futurity at the 2011 Australian Championships and now making the first successful steps in the Grand Prix ranks jumped a super double clear to win the Grand Hotel Bega Cup two seconds faster than second place. For many the attraction is not only this show and the jumping at Cooma next week, it is also the attraction of the beautiful Sapphire Coast. A trip to Bega is a holiday for all the family ans who could resist beautiful Tathra beach, just 15 kilometres away.
