Popular South Coast jumping rider and show sponsor, Les Symons jumped a good first round clear aboard his, 'Sym Narnia' in the Bink Cement Products and Pleveys's Pharmacy C Grade.

A member of the Yandoo showjumping team, Brooke Campbell rode the former Georgie Lucas horse, 'Star Peptalk' to take third place in the Bink Cement Products and Pleveys's Pharmacy C Grade.

Craig Matthews rode his well performed 'Ruperts Little Brother' to take third place in the Steeline Pambula and Back to Front Nursery Young Rider class.

Sydney rider, Sarah Meale jumps a beautiful fence aboard her experienced, Australian Stock Horse, 'Rivoli Panther' during the jump off of the Steeline Pambula and Back to Front Nursery Young Rider class. They took fourth place.

Bega Showjumping Club Secretary, Kristy McPaul looks very stylish aboard her 'Sitting Pretty' during the Ring 1 D Grade first up on the first morning of the three days of jumping at Bega.

Milly Clarke took an impressive second place in the competitive Steeline Pambula and Back to Front Nursery Young Rider class riding her 'Connolly's Eclipse'.

Frenchman, Erwen Lemeur was in action early on the first day of the much anticipated annual Bega Showjumping Festival. The welcome was as always warm, the weather a little warmer and the two jumping arena the best in living memory. Erwen is pictured riding 'With Love' for one time penalty in the Country energy and TRC Concrete Pumping D Grade.

Canberra legend, Grant Hughes has come to Bega with ten horses and is riding eight himself. Grant is pictured aboard the Daley k gelding, 'Blackall Park Atlantis' that took second place in the Bega Cheese and Transedel Livestock Carriers 1.30m class.

Popular jumping rider and Bega Jumping Club member Sandra Kenny had a busy day marshalling and as pictured had some time to ride. Sandra is pictured with her super, 'Alando' during the Bega Cheese and Transedel Livestock Carriers 1.30m class.

Local rider, Clint Beresford has really stepped up in competition this last year and 2011 looks to be full of promise for the talented young rider. Clint rode his 'Belcam Atlantic' to win the Bega Cheese and Transedel Livestock Carriers 1.30m class.

Local rider, Brett Clarke had a busy day with multiple rides in most classes. he is pictured in the D Grade jump off riding 'GH Suey'.

Colin Wareing (pictured) and his wife Michelle are two of a keen band of Victorian riders to make the trip up to Bega. It's Colin's first visit and he is very impressed. He is pictured riding his wife's 'Tiger Lily' for a clear round in the Country Energy and TCR Concrete Pumping D Grade.

Former Bega girl, Emma Smith jumped an impressive clear riding her mother's Stirling Liberty mare, 'Sunday Thrill'. They finished just out of the money in the Country Energy and TCR Concrete Pumping d Grade.

Fourteen year old Stephanie MacKillop from Terry Hills just out of Sydney is again making the most of the family holiday to Bega. She rode her super ten year old Welsh Cob, 'Alcheringa Tradition' to win the Country Energy and TCN Concrete Pumping D Grade.

Andrew Lamb rode his and wife, Ally's impressive, 'CPArgento', a six year old gelding by Vivant out of CP Argentina. Resembling both parents, Argento took fourth place in the Country Energy and TCR Concrete Pumping D Grade.

James Hetherington has made the long trip from Tamworth to attend the three days of jumping at Bega. James had a good day and is pictured riding his 'PP Masterclass' that took fifth place in the D Grade class in Ring 1 and took sixth place in the Steeline Pambula and the Back to Front Nursery Young Rider class.

Cane Chester was bred to ride and ride he does. Kane from Sale rode 'Thriller' by the Lander stallion, HP Lonzo to take second place in Country Energy and TCR Concrete Pumping D Grade. Kane had and increase of his riding duties when course designer, Graeme Watts could not leave his Queensland home due to the floods. Kane's father famous jumping rider and now international Course Designer, Gavin Chester was asked to step in to the breach and agreed.
