Gerald O'Brien kept the best till last in the Australian Stock Horse ring. The well known and well performed exhibitor won the tough Working Mare class with his 'O'Brien's Rosette' and went on to claim the Working Championship.

Isabell Cross-Winston rode well to take fourth place in a strong class for Girl Riders 7 and under 9 Years.

Lillian Mills did well to win the class for Girl Riders 7 and under 9 Years.

Paul Vary putting the Champion Led Australian Stock Horse Stallion, 'Riverview Snowman' through his paces in the Ridden Stallion class.

Rachelle O'Connor from Garfield North in Victoria rode 'Kirreway Beaumont' to win the Girl Rider 9 and under 11 years and Claim the tough Junior Girl Rider Championship.

John Stiphout is pictured with the Fernbrook Stud's Champion Led Australian Stock Horse Gelding and winner of the Gelding Ridden in a Snaffle Bit, 'Lone Pone McKenzie (Acres of Coal/Lone Pine Glory.

A well-performed, Ryan Johnson McNeil won the Boy Rider 11-13 Years and went on to be declared Champion Junior Boy Rider.

Blake Paulston won the class for Boy Riders 9 and under 11 Years.

Indya Povey from Cooma won the class for Girl Riders 11-13 years and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Junior Girl Rider.

Jess Barton is pictured during the D Grade this morning with her impressive six year old import, 'Lamaz' by Landcapitol out of and Esprit mare. Jess and Lamaze were second in the D Grade Jump Off class on Friday.

Stephen Dingwall aboard 'Cavalier Corruption' in the D Grade One Round competition on Saturday morning.

Troy Wilson from Bega won the class for Boy Riders 15-17 Years and went on to be declared Champion Senior Boy Rider.

Irene and Narelle Hogg's stylish, 'Lentara Sage' won the Shetland Pony Gelding Four Years and Under class and went on to be declared Champion Shetland Gelding.

Malcolm McCrae won the class for Gentleman Riders 21 and Over and was declared Reserve Champion Gentleman Rider.

Patrick Solway won the class for Gent Riders 17-21 and took out the 2009 Gentleman Rider Championship.

Casey Waldock from Korobeit in Victoria won the Lady's Galloway class with her 'Janevelyn Chivas Regal' and today claimed the 2009 Canberra Galloway Championship.

Always foot perfect. The multi award winning, 'Beaufort Heiress', exhibited by Sue Peters and Beaufort Nutrition and ridden as always by Trinette Crawford, won the Heavyweight 14-14.2hh Galloway class and was declared Reserve Champion Galloway.

Jack Davidge is pictured with the Davidge Family's 'Jindalee Synergy' in the Australian Stock Horse Hack Championship workout. Earlier in the day Jack won the class for ASH Hack, Rider under 17 Years.

Sidney Anning from Figtree Pocket in Queensland won the class for Girl Riders 13 and under 15 years and went on to be declared Champion Senior Girl Rider and Supreme Junior rider.

Eleven year old Kaycee Wallen did a splendid job with Eleanor and Greg Gerry and Darren Telford's 'Whitmere Top Of The Pops'. The lovely pony by LJS Limited Edition won the Open 12-12.2hh class and went on to be declared Champion Small Pony.

The Sams Family's 'Owendale Honeycomb' ridden by Kaitlin Pennie was second in the class for Open Ponies 12-12.2hh, came in for and claimed the Reserve Small Pony Championship.

Margot Haynes gave a beautiful exhibition riding the Kolbeach Stud's 'Kolbeach Be Free' (Fernleigh Fine Print/Highmead Fancy Free) to win the class for Open Ponies 13.2-14hh and go on to claim the Canberra 2009 Large Pony Championship.

Bridget Sell from Young in NSW rode her successful hack, 'Universal Law' to win the class for Lady Riders Over 40 and went on to be declared Champion Lady Rider.

Laura Thomas as always put on a fantastic Side Saddle exhibition aboard 'Time Gallery' during the Lady Rider Championship workout. Laura won the class for Lady Riders Side Saddle.

Holly Riddle from Bensville in NSW won the class for Lady Riders 17 and under 21 Years and went on to take out the Lady Rider Reserve Championship..

Francesca Christie demonstrated her dominance of the Hack ring today by claiming the Hack Championship with her own and Stephen Merry's 'beautiful, 16-16.2hh winner, 'SLM Mindgames' (pictured) and the Reserve Championship with Christine Frost's legendary hack, 15-15.2hh winner, 'Elmdale Park Poise'.

Fourteen year old Miranda O'Brien rode the Berragoon ASH Stud's 'Berragoon Venus' to win the Ridden Australian Stock Horse Mare class and went on to take out the Ridden Australian Stock Horse Championship. However, Miranda's greatest achievement was to take out the Supreme Ridden ASH award, out riding her father Gerald in the process.
