Young Tyson Filia from Ocean Grove is another keen eventer that has worked her way up from Pony Club through to EFA eventing, Tyson placing 3rd in the Preliminary Section A riding "WP Maid Marion", putting in a clear Cross Country and Showjumping round

Christina Teh and "Small Wood Aaaron" showing some winning form taking out 1st place in the Preliminary Section B, amongst a massive field of entries.A record 447 combinations turned out for the Friends of Werribee this year, eclipsing previous years numbers.

Linda Williams in the Introductory Seection A placed 3rd on "WG Jaffa"

Peta Elstrek has had a big winning streak in the Intro Sections eventing with "Wreck Law", today didn't continue that winning domination, but produced a very respectable 6th place. I'm sure will see this combination back in the top places over the rest of the season.

Kim Schick placed 1st in the Introductory Section A riding "Centaur Park Sound Waves" Intro was a massive class with the organisors deciding to run all phases on the Saturday to get through the huge numbers, with around 120 combinations in the Intro alone, accross 4 sections. Proving also the great popularity of Werribee Park as an Eventing venue capable of coping with such huge numbers of 447 entries, a feat few other venues in the country can cater for.

Natalie Peacock took out 1st place in the Introductory Section D riding "Rosbymar Prince Noreah"

Neva Brunning, fresh back from the birth of her new baby, managed to juggle pushing Bub around the circuit in the pram on the course walk, and put in a blistering perormance after nearly a year off, placing 3rd on "Mugshot" in the Pre Novice Section A

It looks like Erin Anderson and "Ricky Rockstar" and getting some extra air, may'be time to step up a level; Erin placing 8th in the Pre Novice Section B

Jennifer Hodgins had a big smile on her face, and why wouldn't she, Jenni and "Lambourne Park Teachers Pet" taking out 1st place in the Pre Novice Section B with a final score of 55.40

Nicola Hayes and "AEA Abel Rex" placed 4th in the Pre Novice section B

Megan McDonald placed 1st in the Pre Novice Section C riding "Wallington Park Birchwood"

Certainly one of the younger riders in CNC*, school student Andrew Heseltine is starting to make ground placing both 3rd and 4th on two mounts in the CNC* in a very large field of experienced combinations, proving persistence and hard work pays off.

Samantha Whiting continues her success streak once again placing 1st in the CNC* riding Sovereign Rose"

Georgia Stephens put in a good performance onboard "Koyuna Delriada" in the CNC* placing 9th after completion of all phases

Jessie McCann and "R.M. Braveheart" took out 2nd place in the CNC*

Adam Benson in his distinctive BLack and white Silks riding "Continuum" in the CNC*, placing 6th with a final score of 68.0

A combination that needs no introduction in the eventing world, Emily Anker returns to the Australian Circuit after a stint on the European Circuit, seen here onboard the well campaigned "Keninski" in the CNC**

Darren Green doesn't miss the opportunity to get out and event and almost every Horse Trials on the Victorian Circuit, seen here in the CNC** onboard "Torlea Merlin Mcohi" in the CNC**

Another combination that has been showing some fine form this year, Seumas Marwood and the lovely big Grey "War Wizard", placing 4th in the CNC**

Charley Finn-Freeman giving "Odyssey Twist" some strong words of encouragement over the echidna that was first seen at the Melbourne Three Day just before the water complex in the CNC**

Will Enzinger lines up the next fence after exiting the water complex in the CNC** onboard "BWS Eagle", a young horse that has quickly risen through the ranks under Will's great guidance.

Bill Chrisanis and "Qualim" were sitting in third place after Cross Country and Dressage, his partner Linda actually commenting, "he'll probably slip back in the placing after showjumping as showjumping is not his strong point", alas, Bill put in a blistering clear Showjumping Round with no penalties taking out the CNC** First place with a final score of 58.2

Another very experienced combination; Georgia Clifford and "It's Monty" placing 3rd in the CNC** with a final score of 64.4

Olivia Bunn in the CNC** on the lovely "G.V Bullwinkle". Many may remember Olivia jumping this same fence at the Melbourne Three Day and actually jumping the higher side of the Echidna straiight over it's head much to the ooh's and arrr's of the crowd of onlookers.

Jenny Bowker had a brief moment of anxiety when "Radish" decided to hit the brakes on the approach to the Mushrooms after the water in the CNC**, but managed to clear the obstacle on the third approach.

You can't miss Amelia Corallo approaching in those stunning hot pink and yellowo silks, and the stunning Grey "ESB Irish Origin". The combination taking out 2nd place in the Preliminary Section A

Katja Weinmann took out 2nd place in the Pre Novice Section B riding 'Tomahawk Tom"
