Nicholas Fyffe rode Mervyn Collingwood's five year old Regardez Moi mare,'Rococo' to equal seventh place the International Horse Breeders Novice 2.3 with 64.93% and equal fifth place in the 2.4 with 66.67%.

Cornelia O'Mahony rode her'Jive Talkin' BP', a five year old chestnut gelding by Jive Magic to eighth place in the International Horse Breeders Novice 2.4 with 66.40%..

Ruth White from Queensland rode her 'Lincoln Alexis' by Jaybee Alabaster in the International Horse Breeders Australian Novice Championship.

Tammy Stephens one of the Queensland contingent, rode her 'River Range Carolina' (Northern Classic /River Range Catherine) in the International Horse Breeders Australian Novice Championship.

Leesa Miles from NSW rode her wonderfully named, 'Jacobello Del Fiore' a six year old Australian Warmblood by Jive Magic, in the International Horse Breeders Australian Novice Championship..

Amanda Shoobridge was 10th in the Novice 2.4 with 66.00% and seventh in the 2.3 with 64.93%. riding her 'Revelwood World Class' a six year old imported Hanoverian by Wordly.

Anne-Catherine Krups was sixth in the Novice 2.3 with 65.86% and equal eighth in the 2.4 with 66.40 riding her 'Reverence F' (Regardez Moi/Stirling Storm).

Rachael Sanna ran away with the Australian Sports Commission Grand Prix Special with Bev Edward's improving Alabaster stallion, 'Jaybee Alabaster'. Rachael and the stallion won with 68.24%, 5% ahead of the field.

'Romeo's Tune' by Duntroon a seven year old gelding bred by Balmoral Stud, was ridden by owner, Cheryl Ludlow in the International Horse Breeders Australian Novice Championship.

Brya Law rode Kerry Mack's imported 'Spa Whitegirl', a Hanoverian mare by Whitestar in the International Horse Breeders Australian Novice Championship.

Catherine Chittenden from NSW rode her 'Solletico' (Domingo/Shakedown Lass) in the International Horse Breeders Australian Novice Championships.

Lyn and Richard Jenkin's 'Jacana TK', an imported five year old Fresian mare by Ulke is pictured ridden by Jeremy Janjic in the International Horse Breeders Australian Novice Championships. The young mare demonstrated plenty of talent by taking 12th place in the 2.3 with 64.13% and 13th place in the 2.4 with 64.43%.

Queensland combination, Jessica Greelish and her imported Westphalian gelding by Paradiso, 'Rivendell Parador' , made it a memorable 2008 National Championships by winning both the Riders Shoppe Advanced 5.3 with 68.37% and the 5.4 with 66.42% to claim the National Advanced Championship.

'Rhodes' an imported German gelding by Rohdiamont, ridden by Nicholas Fyffe and owned by Phil Rapson. was fifth in the Riders Shoppe Advanced 5.3 with 63.90% and eighth in the 5.4 with 61.58%.

Matthew Dowsley looking very European in his bowler won the International Horse Breeders Novice 2.3 with 70.00% and was fourth in the 2.4 with 67.06% to claim the Australian Novice Championship with Flora Freeman's 'Welton Fyne FF' an Australian bred Hanoverian by Weltmeyer.

Queenslander, Jessica Greelish was another rider to be on song over the Australian Championship weekend. She rode her 'Rivendell Romeo' by Emma Youngman's Rasputin out of a Thoroughbred mare to win the IHB Novice 2.4 with 71.33%

Kate Wilson is pictured during the IHD Australian Novice Championship with her 'Dallas' by Dacaprio. Dallas was third in the 2.4 with 67.33% and 11th in the 2.3 with 64.26%..
